WAKE UP TO LOVELY VIEWS OF THE VILLAGE AND RIVER

 This charming fisherman's cottage has been refurbished to a high standard and nestles in one of Appledore's quaint narrow pedestrian streets and is a short stroll to the bustling quayside.

Enjoy the many family pubs serving food, restaurants, galleries and explore the history of the village with a trip to the Maritime Museum. There are some lovely walks from the village taking you to the 2 miles of golden sandy beach at Westward Ho! or to the town of Bideford alongside the river. The cottage makes a perfect base for exploring North Devon which has much to see and do with popular attractions including The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, Tapeley Park, Exmoor National Park and much more.

The cottage also offers a pretty enclosed garden with a secluded seating area and some river views. The accommodation, approached either from the rear car parking space leading through garden, down a number of decked steps, or from the front offers TWO bedrooms: accessed by steep cottage style stairs, 1 double with lovely river and village views and 1 twin. Shower room: downstairs with WC. Lounge/diner: with original tiled parquet flooring, flatscreen TV with DVD and Freeview, hi-fi, iPod docking station and feature woodburner. Kitchen: well-equipped with cooker, fridge, freezer, washing machine and microwave. Outside: enclosed garden and patio area with BBQ and seating. Amenities: off-road parking for 1 small car but roadside parking or public car park is available . Bed linen, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. 1 dog welcome. Regret no smoking. Location: beach 2 miles, shops, restaurants and pubs all within walking distance

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Lovely cottage with the benefit of a parking space for a small car. Great location for walks with the dog along the south west coast path and tarka trail.

The cottage was exactly as described. So no hidden surprises. If you have mobility issues the steps and steep stairs would be a problem. If you're a confident driver you can park a Vauxhall insignia at the rear! Lovely cottage would stay again. Loved Appledore
