A perfect and tranquil retreat for two, this beautiful studio nestles close to the glorious Lower Tamar Lake and provides a relaxing base for anyone exploring Devon and Cornwall.

You can while away the hours by the Lower Tamar Lake, which is right on your doorstep. A delightful nature reserve, this is perfect for countryside walks. The Upper Lake is a short stroll away and offers coarse fishing, water sports, lakeside walks as well as a café. You will also be close to the market town of Holsworthy and the charming villages of Bradworthy and Kilkhampton. The North Cornish coastline is a twenty minute drive away, which is perfect for surfers and sunbathers. Or you could enjoy lovely cliff-top walks which offer spectacular views across the Atlantic coastline. The lovely Cornish town of Bude provides excellent shopping and leisure facilities together with a wide selection of pubs and restaurants.

This converted single-storey property is set on the owners’ small holding with chickens, sheep and pigs. A warm welcome awaits but privacy is assured. On entering this light and airy studio-style accommodation with floor-to-ceiling French doors, you will find yourself in the open-plan multi-purpose lounge/kitchen/dining/sleeping area. Spacious and elegant, the lounge area is an ideal space for relaxation, with sofa, TV/DVD. Heading over to the attractive kitchen area you will find everything you may need including, electric oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. You are welcome to make use of the owner’s freezer. There’s also a handy breakfast bar. Moving over to the sleeping area you will find a stylish double captain bed with storage space. Exploring further, there is a shower room complete with WC. Underfloor heating is available throughout the studio. Stepping outside, you can dine al fresco and relax at the end of enjoyable day in the enclosed decked area with seating and BBQ. There is parking available for two cars.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Beautiful cottage and ideal place to stay for a secluded week away in the countryside. The cottage is well equipped, light and airy with a real effort spent on the perfect finishing touches, real wooden heated flooring, brushed steel light fittings etc. Owners are pleasant and very helpful with great knowledge of the surrounding area for walks, pubRead mores and attractions. Beautifully presented and very comfortable; loved the light and airy feel. We valued the location which was very peaceful and unique being next to the lake which provided strolls and wildlife watching on the door-step. We enjoyed sitting on the decking which has sun afternoon/evening watching the birds go in/out the nesting box! It's not too far doRead morewn easy lanes to the A39 for access to the coast. Although not large, the studio has absolutely everything you could want. The location is lovely - plenty of walks with our dog around Tamar Lake and also on the coast which is only 15 minutes away in a car. We can thoroughly recommend Tamar Lakes Studio.

Whilst a studio it is better equipped than a lot of larger properties we have stayed in. It is comfortable and spacious and the owners are very thoughtful & helpful but not in the least intrusive. There was even a bowl, towel, bags and a treat for the dog!
