The Gatehouse was so comfortable and cozy for a weekend away. Only a short walk to the coastal path which leads you to Westward Ho! Its very well placed, close to Appledore, and Westward Ho, and beaches such as Woolacombe, Ilfracombe. We ate at The Thatched Inn, which was about a 15 minute walk from the cottage along the road, make sure you take a Read moretorch! The walk was an experience in itself! But well worth it, as the food was lovely. It was a perfect getaway without the children! Thankyou Hide

Lovely little cottage in a great rural location but very close to all the pretty little coastal towns. Good for a peaceful getaway and the local pubs which are in walking distance provide a very decent meal after a days walking along the coastal path. We would be very happy to return to this property
