From your doorstep you are greeted with a host of walks, such as Eggesford forest and bridle ways to explore this great walking country, with its stunning views of the rolling countryside, from the grounds. The quiet village of Burrington is a short stroll and offers village pub and a limited shop service. The main market town of Barnstaple is easily reached via a 30 minute drive and offers a wealth of shops, pubs, restaurants as well as multi-screen cinema, the Queens Theatre hosting a range of local and national productions, to name but a few. The North Devon coastline offers some of the most spectacular coastal walks and golden sandy beaches, a must for all new visitors to the area.

The first floor apartment is reached via 8 external steps and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin bedroom. Bathroom: with bath, shower and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan, with flatscreen TV with integrated DVD and Freeview. Seating and dining area. Kitchen area with fridge/freezer, combination microwave, induction hob with extractor hood, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Outside: guests are able to enjoy unlimited access to the shared enclosed gardens via the farm gates. Amenities: off-road parking available. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Regret no smoking within the property. Regret no children under the age of 7 years old. 2 dogs welcome. Additonal info: under-cover storage area, with seating, ideal for cycle storage, drying off muddy dogs, walking boots and clothes. Location: beach 25 miles, shop within 1 mile.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Great location but...... Upon arrival we found the owner did not clean up after her dog in the shared outside area.The fridge freezer had mould in one of the compartments, the bin was extremely dirty and could do with replacing. A new hob had been put in but the mess created doing this had not been cleaned up. There were dead flies in the bath and Read moreon the bathroom floor. There are no outside bins to to dispose of your rubbish so you have to take it with you. Hide

Comfortable accommodation in a remote quiet location. We were made very welcome, this included the dog.

We had a great time cottage great for two Adults and two dogs. Quite central for easy travel.no internet connection.

If our daughter had not been staying nearby we would have come home. The smoke alarm battery had not been checked. It beeped every 30 seconds all night the last night we were there, but was too high up to do anything about. I took photos of the bathroom bin and the cooker hood. My family and friends are disgusted. The linen, bathroom, and kitchen sRead moreink were clean. We have since stayed in a B&B in Cornwall, much better. I will never hire a cottage again and would not recommend this property. Hide
