This semi-detached cottage sits a short walk from the heart of this vibrant fishing village.

The village of Appledore has long been a popular retreat with its maze of cobbled streets and quaint traditional cottages, located off the quay, that enjoys a selection of shops, welcoming pubs and restaurants. Holidaying in Appledore allows you to relinquish reliance on the car, with a regular bus service leading along the coast and to North Devon's hub towns. The traditional Victorian seaside village of Westward Ho! is easily reached and enjoys England's oldest golf course, Royal North Devon, that criss-crosses the Northam Burrows Country Park and is protected by the naturally occurring pebble ridge that runs the length of this 2 mile golden sandy beach. Within a short journey you can be within the rolling countryside that Devon is famed for, and that is also littered with numerous National Trust properties, RHS gardens and a wealth of family attractions all within easy reach. Or why not simply relax on the balcony and while away your evenings watching the fishing and pleasure boats drift up and down the estuary.

This spacious property offers THREE bedrooms: 1 twin consisting of a double and single with en-suite consisting of shower over bath and WC, located on the ground floor. 1 double and 1 king size bedroom that enjoy estuary views, are located on the first floor. Kitchen: with integrated oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment and microwave, the washing machine is located in the garage. Outside: the property benefits from an enclosed balcony style patio area with garden seating and enjoys estuary views. Amenities: off-road parking within the garage available for 1 car, further roadside parking usually available. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. Really great views of Instow and the estuary. Fairly quiet part of the village but easy walk to the centre. A really spacious house, nice front sun terrace for some morning sun, rear patio for afternoon sun.

Our first time with cottage holidays, found this gem located in appledore, a small village with all the facilities you need. Had all what we wanted in a home from home, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer and Internet access too! Well located for all the attractions we planned to visit.

Lovely cottage in the heart of Appledore . A home from home. Good central location for exploring North Devon. Very dog friendly area, including lovely beaches you can take dogs on all year round.

The cottage is in an amazing position with good views over the estuary. Parking is a nightmare! We had 3 cars, one in the garage, one in the car park which we couldn't move otherwise we lost the parking space. The car in use had serious problems parking if we couldn't get it into the car park as the street was always full of cars.

Lovely cottage, great location with a lovely view of Instow from the balcony, is it value for money, I'm not sure; maybe it's Appledore that's expensive as every other house seems to be a holiday home. Two great Fish&Chip shops nearby, the Johns shop is perfect as well! There's no beach at Appledore either, just a harbour! For the location it was excellent. It's only fault was being situated at top of a very steep hill. It was great to have use of a garage which is very rare in Appledore.
