Semi-detached property in the centre of the attractive fishing village of Appledore, with its narrow streets, prettily painted fishermen’s cottages, and boat trips.

This property is located in the village of Appledore, a popular destination for visitors to the area, thanks to its pretty winding streets, shops, restaurants, and North Devon Maritime Museum. Take the opportunity to take a boat ride across the estuary to the beachside village of Instow, with its sand dunes, 17th century pier, and yacht club or perhaps try your hand at fishing from the quay. A short drive away is the traditional Victorian seaside village of Westward Ho! with its wide expanse of beach, as well as the attractive town of Bideford with its range of antique shops and independent shops.

Entering this property from the street, guests will find a ground-floor bedroom which has both a double and single bed, making it perfect for a family group with a small child. This room benefits from an en-suite bathroom with shower-over-bath and WC. The property’s lounge/diner is located on the first floor, and has a TV and DVD player. Doors from this area lead to the enclosed patio balcony. The kitchen is equipped with an integrated oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, and microwave, whilst the washing machine is located in the garage. Two bedrooms are located on the first floor; one of these is a king-size and the other a double, and both of these enjoy estuary views. The main bathroom is also on the first floor and has a shower with WC.

Outside, the property has an enclosed balcony-style patio with seating and views across the estuary. There is off-road parking for one car in the property’s garage and there is usually further roadside parking available nearby. Up to two medium-sized dogs welcome on request.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

The Maltings is a great holiday location for exploring Appledore and the surrounding area. Very comfortable and has everything you need for a week or two week stay. Parking outside can be tricky but with so many local car parks less than 2 mins walk it really is not a problem.

Really great views of Instow and the estuary. Fairly quiet part of the village but easy walk to the centre. A really spacious house, nice front sun terrace for some morning sun, rear patio for afternoon sun.
