This beautiful traditional Devon farmhouse is Grade II listed and dates back to the early 17th century. It has been refurbished to the highest standard yet retains the original charm of exposed beams and stone fireplaces.

The luxurious and spacious accommodation is set in large private grounds, with its own private terrace to the front. The stunning North Devon coastline is 10 miles away along with the South West Coast Path. Local attractions such as The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, Dartington Crystal and RHS Rosemoor to name a few, are all within an easy drive, you will never run out of things to do and see. Or if you fancy a relaxing break away, you can unwind in the garden with an evening BBQ and glass of wine. Play facilities: there is a double swing to keep the children occupied.

The stylish accommodation offers SIX bedrooms: on the first floor 2 king-size rooms with TVs, 1 with en-suite with bath, separate double shower and WC, 1 double, 1 twin with zip-and-link beds which can be made as a super-king-size on request and 1 further zip-and-link twin with TV and en-suite shower room and WC. 1 downstairs king-size adjacent to the shower room. Bathroom: large with original roll-top bath, separate shower and WC. Downstairs shower room with WC. Lounge: impressive sitting room with exposed beams and inglenook fireplace with original bread oven housing the woodburner (first basket of logs included), a couple of steps up leads into a further lounge with woodburner, flatscreen TV/DVD and Freeview. Dining room: striking antique dining table and chairs, seating 8 in style. Kitchen/diner: extremely well-equipped with slate flagstone floor tiles, feature fireplace, three oven Aga with additional Aga electric oven and four plate electric hob, American style fridge/freezer, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and many useful extras. The dining/breakfast area, with seating for 12, is a perfect space for getting together with french doors lead into the garden. Utility: with washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside: large private sunny terrace with BBQ which leads up steps to a large lawn area for your own use. Amenities: ample parking for at least 8 cars in private courtyard. Bed linen, towels, electric, heating and wi-fi included. Up to 2 dogs welcome, more by arrangement. Additional info: £200 security deposit payable to owner 2 weeks prior to arrival. Tesco and Waitrose on-line delivery accepted. There are 2 travel cots, 2 highchairs and 4 stairgates provided. Location: beach 10 miles. Pub serving food 1 mile and pub with takeaway service and small convenience shop 2.5 miles. Arrival: 4pm.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

This is an ideal property for families friends to get together in. It has been thoughtfully renovated and the kitchen/dining facilities are superb. It also offers the most comfortable beds we have slept in for a long time!

we recently booked this property for 12 of us to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday and had a wonderful time. We all loved it spent a most of our time around the kitchen table chatting, playing games and laughing. Everything about this property is top-class. Hihgly recommend it!

An excellent cottage with loads of space that made staying as couples and two families with young children really easy. The bedrooms were all a good size and really comfortable. Excellent place for a family or friends reunion. Comfortable, spacious rooms including bedrooms and communal spaces. Fully equipped kitchen with many extra utensils. If a quiet location is required this is the place with lots of outdoor space to lounge and for children to run around.

We all fell in love with the farmhouse. We stayed for a week to celebrate my sons 30th, 6 adults, 3 children and a small dog. It's very peaceful and secluded even though there were people staying in the barn accommodation next door - we didn't hear them at all. Lovely countryside views and not too far to drive to some great places to visit. We enjoRead moreyed a good Sunday Lunch at the Hoops Inn and visited Woolacoombe, Instow and Bude beaches.
