Westward Ho! with its 2 miles of beach and the Royal North Devon Golf Club offer many family amusements. Close by is The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure Parks, Tapeley Park, Arlington House and Watermouth Castle. Shopping is well catered for in the market towns of Bideford and Barnstaple.

This unique luxury property with accommodation arranged on three floors and furnished to a high standard, offers FOUR bedrooms: lower ground floor master bedroom with double bed with en-suite bath, separate shower and WC. Large patio windows open on to a balcony with sitting area and pot plants. On the first floor three bedrooms, 1 double and 1 bunk bedroom, both with river and estuary views and 1 twin. Bathroom: on the first floor with shower over bath and WC. Also a separate WC. Lounge/diner: on the ground floor with dining area and patio doors opening onto another balcony with seats. There is a TV, Freeview, DVD and hi-fi. Kitchen: with oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and many useful extras. Utility room: on the lower ground floor with fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. Amenities: garage for 1 small car along with parking for 1 more car, further parking available in car park close by. Bed linen, towels (please bring own beach towels), wi-fi, electric and central heating included. 2 dogs welcome. Regret no smoking in property. Location: close to children's play park. Beach, riding, Royal North Devon Golf Club and indoor pool all within 2 miles. Fishing, pubs, boat trips, restaurants, shops, slipway for boats, Maritime Museum all within walking distance.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

A beautiful cottage that exceeded our expectations, the pictures do not do it justice. We had a fabulous week celebrating a family birthday, with ages ranging from 17 to 81 the cottage and location were perfect. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, and we wanted for nothing.

Fantastic location, Fantasctic house and Views, Appledore was a lovely friendly place to stay. We all enjoyed it the 6 of us, ages 17 - 80yrs. " my son caught lots of crabs from the balcony, Thank you for nets and buckets left to do that"

Waterfront is home from home. The tea, coffee, sugar and milk were very welcome on arrival. We had a wonderful week there. Great location.

We chose the house as we knew it had views of the water and we certainly weren't disappointed, but it was so much more than that! It's a beautiful house, spacious and comfortable and a total home from home. We will be back! We love Appledore and this wasn't our first visit, it's so relaxing and friendly and our dog is welcome in all the cafes, pubsRead more and beaches so it's a holiday for the whole family. Book it!
