This stylish property sits at the end of the owner’s driveway. Located close to a selection of beaches and the Dorset border.  it provides a great base for some great days out including fossil hunting along the famous Jurassic Coast.

An ideal base for touring the South Devon/Dorset coastline which is a short drive away and includes the popular beaches at Charmouth, Bridport, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Beer and Branscombe. The unspoilt Axe estuary is also nearby with its bird and nature reserve and provides some lovely walking opportunities. The market town of Axminster has shops, inns, restaurants, a sports centre, weekly market, and the famous River Cottage Café and Shop. Other attractions in the area include Abbotsbury, Crealy, Bicton Park, Burrows Farm Gardens and a selection of National Trust properties including Killerton and Knightshayes Court.

The bright and airy accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 king-size with en-suite shower, heated towel rail and WC and 1 twin. Shower room: adjacent to the twin bedroom with WC and heated towel rail. A compact cottage with lovely views. Lots of places to visit very nearby. However, the road the cottage is on is narrow and very busy and there are no immediate walks or strolls.

The property was excellent, very clean, all towels & linen provided was good quality. We were not left wanting for anything, our hosts even left us home made scones and cakes, jam and cream on arrival and all very delicious. Very clean and welcoming .A cream tea was provided and refreshment The host greeted us and made sure we were aware of all the facilities. The views would have been super had it not been for the mist had it not been covered in mist.

After a 7 hour journey we were met by the friendly owner, she gave us all the information we needed and had left us the essentials bread, milk plus delicious non essentials too. The accommodation was lovely clean and modern the perfect size for a family of 4 and close to numerous great days out such as Lyme Regis, Beer, Crealy adventure park, and MRead moreonkey World. Hide
