There is so much to see and do within a short drive from the property. Torquay is 3 miles away, which offers a palm-lined promenade, seafront gardens, a lively harbour and an international marina. Within minutes of the town centre there are beautiful beaches easily accessible by foot, road or water and an abundance of pavement cafes, pubs, restaurants and nightlife, good quality shops and a host of attractions to suit every interest. Things to do on days out include trips to Kents Cavern, Paignton Zoo, Babbacombe Model Village, Living Coasts Zoo, Steam Train Rides, Round Robin Bus Trip, Trago Mills, Bare Feet Soft Play Funhouse, Rainbow Funhouse, Crealy Adventure Park, Woodlands Adventure Park, Dartmouth, Totnes and Exeter. More avid explorers also benefit from being within reach of Dartmoor National Park, a number of boat trips and the 20 beaches that Torbay has to offer. There are also plenty of lovely walks direct from the property.

A first-floor apartment entered by a flight of stairs and is situated above a garage in the grounds of the owner's main residence. Offering THREE bedrooms: all with low sloping ceilings, 1 single, 1 twin and 1 double with en-suite shower room with monsoon shower and WC. Bathroom: modern family size with whirlpool bath, modern waterfall-style sink and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: modern open-plan room with flatscreen TV, DVD, Freeview, hi-fi, iPod dock, cooker, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, washer/dryer, dishwasher and granite worktops. Outside: enclosed decked area with garden furniture and BBQ. Children's play area. Amenities: 2 well behaved dogs welcome.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

The property is decorated to a very high standard and has everything you could ask for. The owners were also very helpful and friendly. Being November, cold and dark at night we wanted to use the internet to watch movies, play Chess online and watch catch-up, unfortunately the reception was very poor and disappointing but not the fault of the ownerRead mores. I also struggled with the SKY Tv but again that was our problem. Fantastic walks and small village close by and Torquay is a short drive. Hide

Cottage was modern and well laid out, you could hear road noise, crock well park has stables etc for those wishing to take horses, there are good walks just across the road about 300 metres away. 10 min drive into touquay

We had a very comfortable holiday in this Cottage. We had all the equipment we needed and it was extremely clean. The property was large enough for three adults and there was space for children as well. We enjoyed having our own space and felt separate from the main house and other guests. There was plenty of outdoor space for children and lovely vRead moreiews with animals. You would need to use a car to get to the seafront. The proprietor was very approachable and helpful. Hide

This is not the place for you if you are tall or have a mobility problem , the apartment was very clean and well equipped, there is a lot to do in the area , the electric gate is a bonus both leaving and returning from a day out ,there is good information in the apartment about the area for eating days out and emergences.
