One of two delightful properties, this cottage is located a short distance from the Devon, Dorset and Somerset borders, positioning you perfectly for exploring all three counties. A short drive will take you to The Town Mill in Rousdon, with its artisan bakery/coffee shop, while Castlewood Vineyard nestles beneath Musbury Castle. Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage restaurant can be found in nearby Axminster and offers 'Wine and Dine' experiences. The coastal towns of Seaton and Lyme Regis are just a 10-minute drive away – don’t miss Mark Hix’s Oyster & Fish House restaurant, which overlooks Lyme Regis Bay. Other attractions include Axe Valley Wildlife Park, Ferne Animal Sanctuary, Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium, Seaton Tramway, Crealy Great Adventure Park and National Trust properties.

Enter the picture postcard property to find the kitchen/breakfast room, dining room and lounge all on the ground floor in separate rooms. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, extractor hood, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The separate dining room is located just off from the kitchen and offers a comfortable room with a table and chairs for dining together. In the lounge, you will find exposed wooden beams, a large inglenook fireplace with a wood burner (first basked of logs included) and comfortable sofas for relaxing on to enjoy watching something on the TV/DVD. There is also a shower room and WC on the ground floor. Upstairs you will find two spacious double bedrooms, plus a twin room with countryside views, and a bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Outside there is a generous garden with furniture and a BBQ area so you can dine al fresco during the warmer months. There is also ample off-road parking.

I have nothing but praise. I felt very lucky to have found such a lovely spot. It's a charming character property in a peaceful and beautiful setting with generous accommodation and warm welcome from the owners. It''s in a rural setting, but just a mile from the main road giving easy access to Seaton, Lyme Regis etc. I really loved it!

Beautiful Cottage in small village. Clean. So comfortable. Penny & Colin Max & Molly are great hosts. Ideal location for exploring the South West. Lovely big garden which our dog coco really enjoyed. Perfect.
