Sarah, Ken and the dogs were extremely welcoming. The property was lovely, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The games barn is fab! The small touches made us instantly feel at home, beautiful fresh flowers, a delicious cream tea and treats for our dog! The property is in a valley surrounded by woodland and beautiful views. Just down the laRead morene is the local pub (dog friendly) serving great homemade food - we ate there most days! The locals and landlord were very friendly also. Hide

Sarah and Kenneth have done everything to make you feel welcome. The cottage is nicely furnished - comfy beds - and well equipped. The gardens are lovely, the games room amazing. Table tennis, pool, darts, books, puzzles, table games, CD, DVDs - even guitars to have a session. So no need for kids to be bored.

The cottage was very well equipped & comfortable. The owners seemed to have thought of everything, even providing plenty of wood for the log-burner. The property sits in a valley & very secluded, good walking in the area & excellent for doggie guests.

The cottage is in a great location(despite very narrow lanes) with amazing views. Bird feeders outside attracted lots of different birds. Nice welcome with delicious scones and fresh roses a nice touch. Local pub with great food.

The cottage was smaller than I thought but as there was only 3 of us (plus a dog) it wasnt too bad. I think if my wife had accompanied me, it would have felt quite cramped. Its a good base to explore the region but beware that the roads around the cottage are very narrow. The newly built games barn is excellent with plenty of choice be it pool, tabRead morele football or just listening to some music. Plus the surrounding countryside is very tranquil Hide
