Three storey property enjoying a wonderful elevated seafront location, in the popular resort town of Brixham, on Devon’s south coast.

This property is located on the seafront in the town of Brixham, one of the towns which make up the area known as the English Riviera. This 22 mile stretch of coastline is known for its warm climate, sandy beaches and attractive seaside towns. Brixham itself is primarily a fishing town, with an attractive harbour where visitors will find a replica of the Golden Hind. Other attractions in the town include a 25 metre seawater lido, pretty beaches and coves, a ferry which runs around the bay to Torquay and a range of pleasant restaurants and bistros.

This three storey cottage enjoys an elevated location on the seafront, affording fantastic views from the spacious open-plan lounge/diner. Bay windows in the lounge area of the room fill the room with light and the comfortable sofas make a delightful place to enjoy the views or to watch the TV and DVD. To the rear of the room the dining table seats six, beyond which an archway and several steps up lead through to the kitchen. Here guests will find everything they need to make themselves feel at home, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Stairs lead from the lounge area to the first floor, where there are two bedrooms. Both of these are double rooms, one of which enjoys beautiful sea views, as well as its own TV and DVD. The other room on this level is a split-level room to the rear of the property with a raised dressing area. There is a bathroom on this floor with shower over bath and WC. The spacious master double bedroom occupies the property’s second floor and offers panoramic harbour views, TV, DVD and an en-suite shower room with WC.

Outside, there is a small patio seating area to the front of the property, from where guests can sit and watch the boats in the harbour below. There is roadside parking near to the property, or alternatively, a public car park below the property at sea level, which is accessed via steps.

The views are wonderful, and feel that it is hoped the view will compensate for the TLC that is needed on the cottage.

Position is fabulous, we spent a lot of time on the patio, watching the world go by. No WiFi was a bit of an issue and mattresses are not good but the cottage is generally well appointed. Access to the property is not suitable for anyone that is not able walk well

Seaview Cottage makes an ideal base to explore Brixham and surrounds. It is reasonably secluded, the views from the lounge and both front bedrooms, are spectacular, a little front terrace, we absolutely loved our stay.

Great views. Parking in peak season not easy.

Lovely views from the lounge and two main bedrooms, I could have watched the harbour all day! Steep steps up but worth it for the view, beds quite uncomfortable and no WiFi.
