Ideal for family with young children. Dog friendly but our dog didn't get on with the slippery floor

The property is exceptionally well equipped and spacious. This is great farmhouse accommodation for a large family or extended family with children but would not be so suitable for a group of adults as two of the bedrooms have bunk beds.

Wonderful cottage and a really helpful caretaker. The only difficulty is that there is a steep climb up the drive to the road and a fairly steep hill down a narrow lane to the village. This might make walking to the shop, beach or pub difficult for some people.

Great property! I'm a big fan of the TV show "Escape to the Country" and the farm house was just that but without the expense. Had the farm house been on the market when I emigrated to Australia. Would I of emigrated? That's a tuff one to answer. The property is very very spacious. Even my large family of eight had space to get lost in. The propertRead morey is managed very well and Fiona et al where very helpful during our stay. We were all sad to leave and are more than happy to return again. Hide

A lovely old house, lots of space and a well equipped kitchen. The position is great; amazing views both towards the sea and inland so lots to do. Not ideal for couples but good for families.

We loved Spirewell Farm. A super position with easy access to Wembury beach and village. So much to see and do nearby. The toy room and all the toys provided were wonderful for the children. The kitchen was super and there was so much space for a party of 6 adults and 4 children. No hesitation to recommend it.
