From this wonderful property you will be just minutes from the village of Wembury, with its beautiful beach and breath-taking walks along the South West Coast Path to the former HMS Cambridge. Here you will be able to enjoy the best of both coast and country, and for wildlife enthusiasts this is a great place to spot an array of species. To learn about the area’s wildlife and embark on rockpool rambles, head to Wembury Marine Centre. Venture a little further and visit the harbour in Newton Ferrers for a drink and to watch the boats. Other attractions and trips include Woodlands Adventure Park, a range of National Trust properties, and a trip to Burgh Island via the sea tractor.

This delightful property has been well-equipped for a large group or family stay. Enter the property into the entrance hall, which doubles up as the diner. The farmhouse-style kitchen is lovely and spacious and features a breakfast area, electric range cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. In the separate utility room, you will find a washing machine and tumble dryer and access to the downstairs shower room with WC. The lounge is very inviting and provides somewhere for you all to relax together. There is a wood burner for cooler evenings, TV/DVD, and a reading room with a selection of books. In addition to this there is a sunroom with TV, electric fire and French doors out to the front garden/patio/driveway, plus a children’s play room with a selection of toys. The six bedrooms and bathroom with separate shower and WC can all be found on the first floor. There is a double bedroom made up from twin beds, two bunk bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite bathroom with separate shower and WC, one twin bedroom and two single rooms.

Step outside into the large enclosed garden and enjoy the valley views from the patio with garden furniture. There is a small stream running through the garden and ample off-road parking available.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Please note there is a refundable £250 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

We visited for May Half Term week. Two Grandparents, four parents and four children, plus dog. We really enjoyed our holiday. The house is very spacious but the sleeping and bathroom arrangements were rather frustrating at times. The area is lovely with lots of walks. Be prepared for some steep hills though! This is a wonderful holiday home for any family to stay. It is clean, comfortable and well equipped. It has great outdoor space for kids to play and views are stunning. Best of all it is very peaceful and quiet. The beach is close by but not walking distance but it has good parking. The local pub serves excellent food and has a play area for kids. We had a wonderful holiday the cottage had everything we needed. There is a room dedicated to the dogs which was a bonus for us as we didn't have to use the pen we bought.
