This pretty property has been lovingly fitted and furnished, is perfectly situated at the heart of the vibrant fishing town of Brixham and provides a great base for couples and small families alike.

Brixham itself is renowned for its pretty harbour, a perfect spot for enjoying water sports or trying your hand at crabbing, offers a choice of beach and boasts an open air sea water lido at Shoalstone. Surrounding this is an assortment of colourful cottages housing seafood restaurants, cafes, shops and pubs. Head out and explore the rest of the English Riviera with an abundance of sandy beaches to explore, or just taking the foot ferry to Torquay. If an active holiday is more your style then there are plenty of things to keep you busy ranging from golf, walking and cycling. Other attractions within easy reach include Kents Cavern, Paignton Zoo, Living Coast, Quay West, Plymouth and Exeter.

A small flight of five steps from the threshold takes you up into this pretty property and here you will find that all of the accommodation is conveniently arranged on one level. The first area is the kitchen/diner and this sociable space provides a great venue for a relaxed breakfast before heading out for the day, and is well-equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. From here head towards the rear of the property and into the lounge where you will find comfortable sofas sat in front of a SkyTV, everything apart from sports and movies, and Blu-ray player. There is also a door leading to the balcony and this stretches across the width of the property. The rest of the accommodation comprises of two bedrooms, one double which boasts a door to the balcony and TV and the second is a delightful little twin. A contemporary styled bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC completes the offering inside the property.

Accessed via a step from either the lounge or double bedroom, there is a lovely balcony with sea glimpses, garden furniture and charcoal BBQ, providing a perfect place to enjoy an al fresco bite to eat or a glass of wine. Roadside parking can be found a short walk from the property and it is also possible to purchase weekly permits for the local car parks.

 

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

We were really pleased with our holiday cottage. Location was brilliant, just a short walk into town, and views were amazing from the balcony. Nice touch to receive a bottle of wine on arrival. The loung was very cosy and settee comfortable. Television was good although a little temperamental! The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in, maRead morettress was incredibly soft. Shower was also very good. All in all I didn't want to leave as it felt like home. Hide

Ideal location as property not far from shops and restaurants. Brought weekly car park ticket as parking was an issue, but not to far to walk from car park. If light sleeper road can be busy at times Outside cottage.

A lovely cottage. Spacious and well appointed. We loved the balcony with its panoramic view over the town. The location did worry us before the visit due the hilly nature of Brixham. We needn't have worried, its location is perfect. A great holiday in wonderful cottage and a superb town.

Immaculate and comfortable cottage, a nice touch with the welcome pack. Parking is an issue due to narrow road, and limited spaces available further up the street, so you may incur the added cost of parking which was not a problem for us and would definitely stay here again.

We had a very pleasant stay at The Sidings. The property is very well equiped and very clean and comfortable with a nice view across Brixham and out to the sea. The property is on a steep hill and would be a problem for people with walking difficulties especially as you can't park close by. We found unrestricted parking close to Battery Gardens andRead more left our car there for the week as we used the excellent bus and ferry service to get around. The cottage is comfortable but basic,the lounge and balcony are a plus in terms of comfort and dining outside but only room for two,super T V,the double bed is on the small side,parking for us was not a problem as we parked in the next street up Furzeham St ? The location is excellent for hiking the s-w coastal path and for local buses.overall we hRead moread a very enjoyable week Hide
