The coastal path leads south to the picturesque villages of Seahouses (3.5 miles) and Beadnell (5 miles), or you can take a trip to the Holy Island, Lindisfarne (16 miles). Exploring this idyllic region further, you can visit charming towns and villages including Alnwick (17 miles), Chillingham (12.5 miles) and Craster (13 miles). Other pet-friendly attractions include the grounds of both Bamburgh Castle and Dunstanburgh Castle (13 miles) or you can take a trip through countryside on the dog-welcoming Heatherslaw Light Railway (19 miles). Heading inland, you and your canine pals can discover the glorious Cheviot Hills in the north of the Northumberland National Park (18 miles).
