Set into a steep hillside, Clovelly is a picturesque private village on the breathtaking northern coast of Devon and is known for its cobbled high street and whitewashed cottages with beautiful flower gardens. Clovelly is rich in heritage, with events including Lentshard, the Seaweed Festival and the popular Herring Festival. Dogs are welcome to help you explore Clovelly, which has its own pebble beach and access to the South West Coast Path which leads along a spectacular stretch of coast to Mouthmill Beach. Clovelly also has a charming quay, arts and craft workshops and the beautiful Clovelly Court Gardens. Your furry friends can also join the family at The Milky Way Adventure Park (2.5 miles), the Gnome Reserve and Wildflower Garden (9 miles) or in the gardens of the magnificent Hartland Abbey (7 miles).Set within the Hartland Cornwall Heritage Coast, this area of North Devon offers miles of breathtaking walks and stunning countryside, with Morwenstow (12 miles) and Bude (17 miles) to the south and the popular Victorian seaside resort of Westward Ho! to the north (12.5 miles).
