With its magnificent golden sandy beach, the picturesque village of Croyde makes a wonderful holiday destination for couples, families and groups of friends, with a choice of beautiful dog-friendly cottages. The village has a variety of welcoming pubs and restaurants, with a wide range of excellent self-catering holiday accommodation to choose from including airy bungalows, delightful chalets, spacious family houses and cosy cottages. Situated along the idyllic North Devon Coast, Croyde retains plenty of its original old-world charm, and is also one of the country’s best surf spots, with some excellent surfing schools nearby. Welcoming dogs between September and May, the beach at Croyde Bay is just one of the numerous beauty spots to explore with your canine companions in this stunning area.
Our Croyde cottages make a fantastic base for exploring the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are several spectacular beaches within 5 miles which your four-legged friends can explore, including Saunton Sands, Woolacombe, Barricane and Putsborough (some seasonal, zonal restrictions apply). You can also accompany your pets on breathtaking walks along Baggy Point and the sand dune system of Braunton Burrows. Dogs are welcome at Marwood Hill Garden (8 miles), Arlington Court (15.5 miles) and Quince Honey Farm (20 miles), and they can join you on the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway (25 miles). You can also visit the thriving Devon seaside town of Ilfracombe (9 miles) and the tranquil village of Combe Martin (14 miles) or spend a day roaming across the glorious Exmoor National Park (16 miles).
