Set on a beautiful estuary which opens out into the glorious St Ives Bay, the delightful town of Hayle offers some glorious walks and has a choice of dog-friendly Cornwall cottages for you to relax in. The town is a perfect holiday location for dogs and their owners seeking to explore the breathtaking coastline and idyllic countryside of West Cornwall. With its spectacular sea views and miles of fabulous coastal walks, Hayle makes an excellent dog-friendly holiday location for couples, families and your furry friends. Dogs are welcome on several of the charming local beaches including Mexico Towans, Black Cliff and Porthkidney. Both Hayle and the neighbouring St Ives have plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes where your four-legged friends are welcome.
Our Hayle cottages are a wonderful base for exploring the far south-western corner of Cornwall, with numerous dog-friendly attractions in the area including Cornwall Gold, Tehidy Country Park, Heartlands and the St Ives Museum. Heading a little further afield towards Penzance, you can also help your dogs explore Godolphin House and Gardens, Trengwainton Garden, Tanglewood Wild Garden and the island surrounding St Michael’s Mount. Hayle is only 17 miles from Land’s End, where your canine companions can visit the cliff-top Minack Theatre, the Penwith Heritage Coast and the Geevor Tin Mine. Heading further south you can discover the beautiful landscapes and fantastic sea views of the Lizard Heritage Coast. Exploring the coast to the northeast you can visit the Godrevy Heritage Coast and the pretty village of St Agnes.
