Self-catering dog-friendly holiday cottages in the Outer Hebrides

There are many dog-friendly cottages in the Outer Hebrides for you and your canine companions to choose from. A chain of connected islands located off the north-western coast of Scotland, there really is something for everyone, whether you’re on a romantic retreat for two or an action-packed family holiday. Outer Hebrides dog-friendly holiday cottages allow you and your four-legged friends to enjoy the wealth of walking trails through the stunning and varied landscapes that the islands have on offer. As you’d expect from Scotland, the islands have an abundance of special wildlife and panoramic views, but visitors also have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the islands’ Gaelic culture and history.

Our collection of dog-friendly cottages throughout Scotland allow you to make memories all day and have somewhere private and comfortable to return to of an evening to enjoy a homecooked meal against the backdrop of stunning scenery. With so many islands to choose from, you will never tire of visiting as there is so much to see and do, most of which is pet-friendly. The wildlife is spectacular, from otters to golden eagles. The beaches are breathtaking with white sand and crystal-clear water, such as Luskentyre and Scarista, whilst there is history aplenty, from the Lewis Chessmen to the Callanish Stones to the blackhouses. There is also lots of local produce to sample, such as gin and whisky, as well as local crafts which are an important part of the islands’ culture and identity.
