Most lovely, peaceful, well-equipped, nice thatched cottage which takes you back in time. Car necessary to get to everything. Nice neighbours. Duch places make perfect holidays.

This is a lovely cottage in a quiet location but very remote. A car is required whenever you need groceries or newspaper, but the lanes are very narrow. We really enjoyed our stay (3 adults) not sure this location is suitable for children. Walkers would love it! We found the cottage warm and cosy in October.

Lovely cottage, close to Dorchester, we were made to feel very welcome with some delicious wine and biscuits on our arrival. Jane, our contact was helpful and answered any queries promptly. The cottage was well equipped and set in a pretty little hamlet. Beautiful garden but sadly not secure for our dogs.

A very beautiful, well-maintained and clean cottage with nice decor throughout. The outside terrace area was particularly lovely with lots of butterflies around. As a family with a member with very limited mobility the downstairs annex with bedroom/separate bathroom was perfect. The location is remote which we liked but be prepared to drive everywhRead moreere even if you just want to get a morning paper. Hide

I stayed at Apple Tree Cottage from 2nd to 9th June 2017 with my Mum and brother. The cottage and garden are idyllic and there are beautiful views all around, (though sadly the weather was atrocious so we did not see everything at its best). However the location is somewhat remote and that needs to be factored in when planning days/evenings out. KiRead moretchen is well equipped, plenty of toilet/bathroom facilities but living room quite small. Bedrooms very pretty and spacious. A most enjoyable stay. Hide

We immediately felt very welcome and at home in this cottage. It is very comfortable and well-equipped with good quality kitchen machines, furniture throughout the house and cutlery, crockery etc. In particular the fresh white bed linen could not have been better.
