This is a delightfully quirky and quaint little cottage situated ideally for access to Dorchester and the Coast, Salisbury, etc. Although comfortable (especially the bed) we found it is not designed for a tall family. Lovely thatched cottage in very good location, although road used as a cut through so pretty noisy at times and traffic moves very fast. If you are looking for a quiet holiday in a lovely rural retreat then look no further than this charming cottage. Its far enough off the main roads for it to be quiet, but close enough to civilisation for the shops and other amenities. Do not miss an opportunity to stay in this grade 2 listed property.

A very homely place to stay. The bed was very comfortable and the views across the fields delightful. Ideal for our cocker spaniel - we drove to the meadow near Sherborne Station each day where he could run off the lead.

We booked this cottage for my parents for their 40th Wedding Anniversary weekend and they had a fantastic 4 night stay. The cottage was cosy, welcoming and there were lots of areas nearby to explore. They really enjoyed their stay.

Very well furnished and equipped cottage in a quiet location, spoilt a little by quite a lot agricultural traffic passing close by. A little further from the coast than expected but ideal base for north Devon. A very enjoyable holiday.
