This delightful terraced cottage retains much of its original charm with exposed beams, inglenook fireplace with a woodburner and nestles along the main village road in the heart of central Dorset. Perfect for families or couples alike.

Cerne Abbas is a small, friendly village lying in the valley of the River Cerne famous for being the home of the Cerne Abbas Giant, a chalk figure of a man carved into the hillside. There is an extensive range of public footpaths and bridleways throughout the village and walks to suit every taste, the village also boasts a traditional Dorset tea room, 3 village pubs and a shop/Post Office. The historic market town of Dorchester is approximately 7 miles away. The seaside resorts of Weymouth, Swanage and Lyme Regis with their sandy beaches and coves are also worth a visit. Other attractions include Monkey World, The Tank Museum, Durdle Door, Lulworth Castle, Corfe Castle, Abbotsbury Swannery, the abbey town of Sherborne and much more.

The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: accessed via cottage style stairs, 1 double, at the front of the property and 1 twin overlooking the garden. Bathroom: handheld shower over bath and WC. Lounge: with exposed beams, woodburner (first basket of logs included), TV and DVD. Kitchen/diner: well-equipped with belfast sink, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, slimline dishwasher, washing machine, ample seating for 4 and access to the patio and garden. Outside: accessed from the kitchen, patio area with seating, 6 steps lead up to the garden area. Amenities: roadside parking directly outside of the property. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking in the property. Regret no pets. Location: beach approximately 10 miles, shop/Post Office and pubs all within walking distance.

Located in an attractive village, surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside, Bramble Cottage provides a perfect holiday stay. The cottage is beautifully laid out and offers plenty of home comforts.

This was our second year staying at Bramble Cottage and we absolutely adored our time there yet again.The cottage feels so homely and you can not beat it for location, the village itself is a rare gem and we love the walks right on your doorstep. Sherborne town is a truly beautiful place to visit, so much history and atmosphere .

This is a very cute little cottage - great to use as a base to explore the surrounding areas and situated in a lovely village. Its a tight squeeze for four adults but for a family with small children or just two people is perfect. Owner incredibly helpful and went out of their way albeit via email to ensure everything was OK.

Cerne Abbas is the perfect location for a young family. It's also nice and quiet. The cottage itself is cosy with a traditional feel. The kitchen is very spacious, ideal for preparing for long days out exploring.
