PRETTY ANNEXE TO MAIN FARMHOUSE WITH BEACH A SHORT WALK AWAY

This unique delightful property nestles next to the owner’s property on a small organic farm with sheep and chickens. It has been built and developed in a sustainable way using a number of local and natural materials and offers a great escape for couples looking to explore this lovely area.

Located in Dorset's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and perfectly placed on the Jurassic Coast, designated as England's first Natural World Heritage Site, and spanning 95 miles of the Dorset and East Devon coastline taking in some of the very finest walks and views available. There are footpaths from the farm including to the seaside village of Charmouth which is a 2.5 mile walk from the property and offers an array of shops and pubs. Lyme Regis is also within easy reach and boasts an unspoilt seafront with sheltered south-facing beaches and traditional deckchairs that still line the promenade in summer. Other attractions in the area include the historic market town of Bridport, Abbotsbury Swannery, the charming coastal resorts of Beer, Seaton and West Bay, as well as numerous National Trust properties and gardens.

The accommodation offers ONE bedroom on first floor: super-king-size (that can be presented as a twin upon request at time of booking) with en-suite bathroom with shower attachment and WC. Shower-room: with electric shower and WC, located on the ground floor. Open plan lounge/kitchen/diner: lovely cosy area with large flatscreen TV/DVD and French doors with garden views. Kitchen area with cooker with ceramic hob, grill and oven, microwave oven and fridge with freezer compartment. Regret no washing machine but it is possible to use the one in the main farmhouse by arrangement. Outside: private enclosed patio area with garden furniture. Amenities: private off-road parking for 1 car. Bed linen, towels, electric, heating (underfloor heating on the ground floor and central heating on the first floor) and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking. 2 well-behaved dogs welcome, please kindly keep on leads when on site except within the patio area, designated field available to exercise dogs off the lead, please enquire with owner on arrival. Location: beach 2 miles, pub within walking distance and selection of pubs, shops and restaurants in Charmouth 2.5 miles. Arrival time: 4pm

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Lovely cost quirky cottage. Well equipped so nice to supply loo rolls,kitchen roll,tissues. Also as it's an organic farm there was shampoo,conditioner and shower gel which was very good. Comfy sofa and a huge comfy bed. Felt at home there.

If you want a home from home comfortable and beautiful holiday home this is the place for you. Perfectly situated and beautifully decorated everything you need for a perfect holiday. We took our two chocolate labs for their first seaside holiday (they are 9) and they settled immediately as it was so homely.

Very nicely done conversion, easy to feel at home quickly because it's not cluttered with stuff it feels very spacious, with some really lovely antique furniture to admire. Comfortable bed and sofa; nice and warm too with the underfloor heating; gorgeous thick bath sheets especially welcome. Location of cottage was good, many places of interest to visit. Owner of property was friendly and helpful. Just a shame the property was let down by the soft furnishings.

Very enjoyable stay in this lovely cottage. The bedroom is especially beautiful with its high cieling , beams, attractive furniture and handmade quilt. We loved the cob fabric, the arrangement of slit windows and gorgeous organic cob sills, curved walls and arches. The staircase was fabulous! Plenty of storage and hanging space. Lovely quirky cottage. High quality fittings. Two bathrooms worked really well. Electric shower was more powerful than we expected, and more than adequate for habitual power-shower users. A beautiful village location which was a short driving distance to Charmouth. The cottage location within the farm was comfortable and an excellent location for dogs to roam about in a large field next to the property.

A beautiful, well-appointed character property in an idyllic, peaceful setting. We immediately relaxed and felt at home. Great location. Hilary was very helpful and friendly especially when our dog snook into her house for an univited exploration! The barn conversion is lovely, well positioned to visit lots of lovely places. Warm and spacious and comfortable . Wi-Fi was good . Would definitely stay again :)

The cottage was lovely & quiet we had a very relaxing time here, it was a shame there wasn't a garden that was secure we have a one year old Labrador that given the chance would have jumped the small wall outside the front door ( concrete area ) & would have had a field day running around !! We had a fabulous break over New Year. The cottage is SO warm and cosy and ALL our needs were met. I really looked forward to going back to the barn at the end of the day.
