Listed barn conversion property located in a complex of four similar properties, enjoying a rural location in the village of Leigh in North Dorset, situated within thirty miles of the stunning Jurassic Coast.

This property is located in a rural part of North Dorset, just five miles from the historic town of Sherborne which boasts an imposing abbey and two castles. Sherborne Castle is a fantastically maintained family home with expansive landscaped gardens, which is open to the public from April through to the end of October, whilst Sherborne Old Castle is an atmospheric romantic ruin which is maintained by English Heritage, and was once home to Sir Walter Raleigh. Other places of interest in the area include the Haynes Motor Museum, the Fleet Air Arm Museum, and the many beaches of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, including the sweeping beach at West Bay, the location for TV’s fictional Broadchurch.

On arrival at this barn-conversion property, guests first come to the homely open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. In one corner of the room, the cosy lounge area has an L-shaped sofa from which guests can enjoy the TV/DVD. The dining table seats four, beyond which, the kitchen area is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Taking the stairs from the living area, will bring guests to the first-floor accommodation where there are two bedrooms. The first of these is a relaxing double room, whilst the second is a peaceful twin room. The shower room with its shower and WC is also located on the first floor.

Outside, the property benefits from an enclosed patio garden with garden furniture, which makes a perfect spot for alfresco drinks in the tranquil surroundings. Guests also have access to a shared games barn which offers a snooker table, darts, and table football, whilst the owners are also happy to show guests around their neighbouring organic farm. There is a secure bike shed which guests are welcome to make use of, and parking for two cars.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

It was super lovely. The only change I would like is to replace the wire fence so my chihuahua cant get out. Wouldnt benefit all but would be good. Will come back for sure as it was great. Thank you for a lovely, friendly time! X
