A superb stay in an idyllic setting. The cottage is extremely well equipped and very spacious - great to sit out on the terrace and hear the river burbling past. The hosts were welcoming and helpful and ensured our stay was perfect. A special place and highly recommended! And the short walk to a great pub is a clincher!!

Great cottage, lovely location, good food nearby in local pubs.

Lovely quiet place to stay convenient for days out to the coast, to Sherborne and Dorchester. The local footpaths were too muddy and we had to turn back, but there are lots of great walks elsewhere including Hardy' cottage, up to Maiden Castle and, of course, the coast. The cottage had everything one wanted for a short stay.
