We loved the peace and quiet that the lodge offered and the hot tub was amazing! It is very remote and everywhere needs a car to access it. The best food was the Blue Vinney which ticked all the boxes, lovely food, great service and good wine!SELECTED!. !ENDOFSELECTED!Carole (owner) is really friendly and helpful as is their son (sorry don't know hRead moreis name), brilliant week. Lovely wooden lodge. Furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Comfortable and relaxing holiday. Located out in the sticks so if its quiet and secluded that you are looking for, situated on a working farm, then this is the accommodation for you.

Loved staying at the Lodge - very peaceful, relaxing and luxurious - everything we needed was there including milk in the fridge on arrival and a bottle of wine - great touch. Brilliant facilities. Enough coffee/tea/sugar was provided for the week which was a bonus. If it was nearer the coast it would 100% perfect - even so we had a great week at tRead morehe Lodge. Hide

Ideal location if you want a get away from it all holiday but still have activities and basic purchases to hand if needed. A helpful farm shop close buy as well as bike hire. Not suitable if unable to manage steps but ok for most people. Also not much activities fir children ie a park etc but then most people tend to break up days with trips out. Lodge was lovely and just like photo's the hot tub was brilliant. Lovely local walks. Food and service at Fox Inn excellent just opposite the farm. Used the farm shop to buy supplies for a cooked breakfast and ordered our croissants day before. Very friendly village to stay.
