Aesthetically pleasing semi-detached Dorset cottage with original stonework maintains its traditional charm, that contrasts nicely against the updated and surprisingly spacious interior.

Any small family or group of friends looking to take a trip to the coast will enjoy this cottage that offers a feast for the senses. Breathe in the sea air, take in the distant sounds of the dramatic Dorset coast and gaze at the beautiful countryside that surrounds this magnificent property. With the local pub just 100 yards away and its central location, despite the fact it is tucked away, you will never be far away from civilisation here.

From the front porch you enter into the hall, which takes you either upstairs or along to the sitting room, kitchen and sun room. The kitchen provides a table and four chairs, dishwasher and log burner in its own little alcove. The sitting room has enough space to relax with two two-seater sofas, a large Smart TV and a picture window with seat to enjoy the rolling countryside. From the sitting room you have access to the roomy sun room with a two-seater sofa, a storage box that doubles as a seat for two and an extremely comfortable armchair. Thanks to the numerous windows around the room, it is flooded with light and makes this the perfect place to hang out during the day. When you head up the staircase to the upper level, you will find the spacious main bedroom which has a double bed and a comfy armchair with views over fields and countryside. The second bedroom features two single beds and ample storage space.  The bathroom has a shower over bath, basin and WC.

The well-maintained garden to the rear of the exterior is on two levels and can be accessed via the sun room. A simple lawn is complemented by well-chosen shrubs helping to provide a border to the lower and upper level. There is parking available in the lane opposite to the cottage.

A clean ,spacious, welcoming cottage with lovely views. Good attention to detail throughout. A couple of nice pubs very close by serving fresh local food. The walk to Hive beach is about 15 minutes going through the village,a nice beach with a couple of cafes serving quality food. Some easy walks along the coast path. The cottage is on a blind corneRead morer with no parking ,( you can park on the road opposite),so care is needed when leaving the property. Hide

This is a very well equipped and furnished property, with everything you need for a great holiday. It has been set up as if the owner wanted to live there, rather than being kitted out on the cheap, as some holiday lets can be. It has lovely views and the sun room and enclosed garden are a real bonus.

Lovely cottage, well equipped but we visited off season and found the parking difficult this time. What must it be like in high season!

A delightful and well cared for cottage, really well equipped and everything thought of. Sparkling clean yet homely and welcoming. Glorious views and a sunny garden which we enjoyed - in February! The only slight down side is negotiating the busy road to park opposite.

Field cottage was beautiful. It was absolutely spotless, very well decorated with super comfy beds with super soft linen. We stayed there for Christmas and there was a Christmas tree and crackers in the house as well as festive chocolates and a panatone. They had thought of everything and it was such a comfy cosy place to stay.
