Set in a leafy location overlooking the forest, Ashley Heath is the ideal base for touring the area, as it is set centrally between Ringwood and Wimborne. The New Forest National Park is close by and offers stunning scenery and a plethora of routes ideal for walkers and cyclists. With good road links the Jurassic Coastline is also accessible from here, where you can explore the much photographed Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. This picturesque area has an abundance of attractions to explore, such as Moors Valley Country Park and golf course, which is minutes away. West Quay Southampton or Bournemouth with its wide range of shops, beach and amenities.

This spacious studio style annexe is attached to the owners home, yet offers a good degree of seclusion. To the front is a gravelled parking area which leads you directly to the private entrance. The door opens into a bright and airy kitchen, which is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine and tumble dryer. Overlooking the garden and with doors giving access, the large open-plan lounge/dining area has a TV and DVD and is the perfect place to relax and watch a film after a long walk. Adjacent to the lounge area through an open arch is a king-size bedroom, also with a door to the garden. Heading back through the lounge you will find a contemporary shower room with WC.

Venturing outside you will find an enclosed patio with garden furniture and BBQ. Set directly off the lounge and backed by the forest it’s the perfect spot for dining outdoors. Moving back around to the front of the property you will find a gravelled parking area, which will accommodate two cars.

We had a lovely short break, there's plenty of room for two and everything you might need . The location is perfect for visiting the New Forest and exploring the nearby coast, we're particularly fond of Christchurch. Can definitely recommend a day trip to the Isle of White.

The owners are friendly but not intrusive. Wine, cake and milk were a nice touch. Very well equipped kitchen, bed very comfortable and good views of the garden through patio doors in lounge and bedroom.

The cottage is ideally situated for the New Forest with some good walks, including the ferry to the Isle of White. The cottage its self was comfortable, clean and well equipped, just what you need when on a break. The owners were very pleasant, friendly and helpful.

An extremely cosy winter stay in a spacious and incredibly comfortable bungalow annex. Very easy to find with excellent parking. Private entrance adjacent to parking making off-loading easy. Pictures do not do the internal layout justice. Extremely well equipped large kitchen. (Our stay over Christmas period with full meals cooked!) Very friendly, Read morewelcoming on-site owner. A warm welcome from Mrs Hill, wine, cake and fresh flowers appreciated. A comfortable stay and slept well with no traffic noise despite it being on a busy road. No mobile signal but good WiFi. Ideally located for the places we visited.
