Completed in 2016, this spectacular rural retreat is perfect for couples in search of a stylish getaway in a peaceful setting.

Enjoying a secluded setting on a quiet, narrow country lane, this property offers wonderful rural walks from the doorstep. Only a mile and a half away lies The World Heritage site of Lyme Regis, with its bustling harbour, historic Cobb and breath-taking Jurassic Coast for bracing beach and cliff-top strolls. In Lyme Regis you will also discover a range of independent shops, stylish cafes, pubs and restaurants, perfect for stocking up on supplies and dining out. Ideally situated for walkers and fossil hunters, with many local attractions to visit including the Marine Theatre, Marine Aquarium, the award winning Lyme Regis Brewery, River Cottage HQ and Canteen. Other attractions include Seaton Tramway, Sidmouth, Chesil Beach and Abbotsbury Swannery, or perhaps book yourself on a local mackerel fishing trip.

Inside, the studio-style accommodation has been beautifully designed with sleek, minimalist decor of wooden flooring, clean white walls and large full-length windows to make the most of those stunning views. In the contemporary kitchen area you will find an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, espresso machine and dishwasher. Enjoy leisurely meals around the dining table nearby while listening to your favourite music through the Sonos speaker before taking to the stylish lounge area beyond. At the end of a long day, cosy up beside the wood burner and make the most of the Smart TV which features complimentary access to Amazon Prime and Netflix. The Scandinavian-inspired sleeping area features a king-size bed and a contemporary shower room next door with a large shower and WC.

Step outside from the lounge area and onto the decked terrace which is a delightful spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or al fresco meal at the table and chairs, while taking in the stunning views beyond. Two steps lead from the decked terrace down to the enclosed gravelled courtyard which is another lovely area to relax in or fire up the gas BBQ. Furthermore, guests can also use Little Lookout, which is new for 2018. Little Lookout is accessed via the pretty silver birch glade next to the property and provides guests with private use of a cosy garden room which has been transformed into a secluded, tranquil sun trap area. From here you can enjoy seeing the local wildlife and panoramic views across the valley whilst relaxing on the adjacent decked area which has sun loungers, a table and chairs. Off-road parking is available for one car.

Little Spinney was a delight. Modern, light and airy, with all the mod cons. Set in a beautiful rural location, with stunning views. Only a thirty minute walk (downhill) to Lyme Regis. We had a great time here.

This is a modern cottage in a beautiful location. We particularly liked the motion sensitive mood lights in the bathroom and the colour lighting on the tree outside. The log burner was a godsend in a cold week - easy to use with plenty of fuel provided to make the cottage nice and toasty. We even managed to sit out and enjoy and sunshine on the patRead moreio despite it being winter as its a real sun-trap in the afternoon. The bed was large and comfy and the kitchen well equipped. Lovely and quiet, position down narrow country lane, so very few cars. Well equipped and comfortable cottage. The host Kevin met us on arrival and made sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. He gave useful suggestions where to walk which added to our holiday experience and we loved the walk into Lyme Regis. The studio itself is spotless and has a log burner which keeps it cosy and lots of little extras are provided eg Netflix. This is a perfect place to relax. The views are stunning and the property is the height of modern luxury. Even though the weather was dreadful we were extremely cosy and enjoyed a wonderful stay.

A fantastic studio property situated on a small very quiet lane. Lyme Regis is just a 35 minute walk (45 minutes coming back). This is a great property in a lovely peaceful location. Very private with great views and lots of local wildlife to see from the comfort of the terrace. We saw a fox, roe deer, buzzards, owl and bat on our first evening. The walk into Lyme via Mill Lane and along the river is beautiful-butterflies galore, dragonflies, trout to be seen. There are no improvements or recommendations needed at Little Spinney everything was just wonderful, so clean and tidy, peaceful and quiet with beautiful country views and very kind owner. Only one and a half miles from the superb resort of Lyme Regis. Would certainly recommend this superb studio. First Class.

Little Spinney is just perfect for a couple who love peace and quiet and for relaxing after having a busy day. It is only one and a half miles from the beautiful Lyme Regis which is so clean and tidy with the shops providing everything you need. We would highly recommend this holiday studio.

This was a fabulous holiday cottage tucked down a narrow lane and with views over the valley - beautifully cool in the hottest week since goodness knows when! A superb location for discovering Lyme Regis and all around Dorset and East Devon. Really friendly owner - just loved it!
