Beautifully modernised to offer bright and spacious accommodation, this lovely cottage is a tranquil hideaway just steps from the village centre.

Situated in a quiet lane in the picturesque village of Corfe Castle, this property is just a three-minute walk from the local bakery, post office, tearoom and pubs. Standing high on a hill, the castle is a historic focal point of the village and can be seen from the cottage. The wonderful sandy beach of Studland is an easy drive from the property, great for boating, paddling and swimming, while the more lively resort of Swanage is also within easy reach. Other nearby attractions include Lulworth Castle, Kingston Lacey and Hardy’s Cottage.

Inside, this stone cottage has been lovingly updated to provide light and airy accommodation with fresh, neutral decor throughout. The spacious kitchen/diner is a fantastic room with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment. washing machine and a dining table overlooking the garden through French doors. At the end of a long day exploring the local area, relax and unwind in the large lounge, which is furnished with comfortable sofas, a TV/DVD and an open fire for cosy evenings in. Upstairs are two pretty bedrooms, one spacious king-size and one bunk bedroom with French doors opening onto a delightful balcony for enjoying a morning cup of coffee with views of the castle. The bedrooms share a stylish modern bathroom with shower and WC.

Outside, a sunny patio area with garden furniture opens onto a fantastic lawn garden. With apple trees and plenty of space for lawn games and activities, this is the perfect place to spend sunny afternoons. There is parking outside the cottage from October to May and allocated private parking is available for two cars close by.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Please note there is a refundable £100 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

A lovely cottage in a brilliant location. It was great to be able to leave the car and walk from the door. The garden was a great place for morning breakfast and evening meals with a fabulous view of Corfe Castle and the Purbeck Hills.

A fantastic well equipped cottage in a fabulous location. Good to have parking in a busy village, easy to access the lovely shops and Corfe castle as they were just a few minutes walk away. A good location for the beaches at Swanage and Studland. We had a fantastic holiday.

A delightful comfortable cottage in the beautiful village of Corfe Castle. Clean and well equipped, it has been modernised to a high standard. Good access to numerous nearby coastal walks and places to visit. A real gem.

Another lovely stay over the New Year period. Highly recommend Four and Twenty Black Birds for dinner and also the Gray Hound. the cottage is in a great location for the center of the village and Corfe Castle is a magical place at Christmas!!

This is a warm and comfortable cottage, very well equipped, in a lovely part of Corfe Castle. We had a wonderful week there and made full use of all the village amenities, pub and very well stocked corner shop. We will be back!!!
