This gated holiday complex offers a selection of well thought out, purpose built, spacious accommodation within these converted former farm buildings located a short stroll from the village amenities. Situated within the traditional Dorset seaside village of Charmouth, that offers an array of shops and pubs a short walk from your door, ideal for picking up the morning paper and more. Perfectly placed on the Jurassic Coast, that has joined the ranks of the Great Barrier Reef and the Grand Canyon as one of the wonders of the natural world and designated as England's first Natural World Heritage Site. Spanning 95 miles of the Dorset and East Devon coastline and taking in some of the very finest walks and views available. Lyme Regis is a short drive away, which offers an unspoilt seafront with sheltered south-facing beaches and provides a perfect environment in which children can play and adults can relax in the traditional deckchairs that still line the promenade in summer. There are many attractions in the area including the charming resorts of Beer, Branscombe and numerous National Trust properties and gardens to name but a few.

Leisure facilities: guests are invited to enjoy the leisure facilities of the neighbouring holiday park which includes a shared covered outdoor heated swimming pool and the Char Valley cafe, serving speciality teas and coffees throughout the day. Use of the covered outdoor heated swimming pool is included and open for the following dates in 2018: 31st March – 14th April, 5th May – 7th May, 26th May – 2nd September and 20th October - 27th October. Also available for adults’ use, at a reduced charge, is the well-equipped Char Valley Health Club with gymnasium, indoor pool, sauna and steam room. Health club and cafe opening times: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday and closed for lunch, 9am-1pm Sat and Sun. Main pool in school summer holidays open 7 days a week 10am to 5pm and closed for lunch. Details of the pool opening times outside of the summer holiday period are available on request, please call for more info. Outside: properties benefit from a private patio area with garden furniture. Amenities: ample parking available on site. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Wi-Fi available for an additional charge (please note this connection is unsuitable for streaming movies and games etc). Regret no pets or smoking. Location: beach, shops and pubs all within walking distance. Arrival: 4pm - 8pm.

This single level accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 king-size with flatscreen TV with private gravelled courtyard and en-suite bathroom with separate shower and WC, and 1 twin room (that can be made as a super king-size upon request at time of booking) with en-suite wet room and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: with flatscreen TV, DVD and Freeview. Kitchen: offers integrated oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher. Utility room: with wash/dryer and WC. Additional info: Short breaks only available during off peak weeks. Small stable-type block of modern construction. This is the end one. It is designed for disabled people - bathroom shower has seat and handrail for loo. The beds are woefully springy and uncomfortable - slept well first night because very tired after 5 hour journey. Rest of the week was very hit and miss.

Not the standard of cottage we have previously enjoyed through holidaycottages.com. The beds were particularly uncomfortable, and at the price we were paying we did not expect to have to strip the beds at the end of our holiday. Minimum cutlery and crockery, not sufficient to warrant using the dishwasher and the one dishwasher tablet supplied. No TRead moreV in master bedroom as advertised. A lovely adapted cottage made very comfortable. lots of character. The outside seating area is a bit exposed to the neighbours as wall to low which made us feel a bit uncomfortable to sit outside but there is a little private walled courtyard outside one of the bedrooms so we moved the table & chairs to this part and enjoyed the privacy. There is dRead moreisabled access into this cottage but we found the step by the gate difficult with the wheelchair. Hide

A great purpose built gated site, well equipped with good quality furniture, curtains , cutlery and crockery. Bed linen and fluffy white towels excellent. Access cottage has plenty of space and full facilities. Main pool times of 10-1pm somewhat limiting. Leisure centre at extra charge vet good.

Excellent location and a good basic property with some disabled facilities. Ramp into house useful although there is a small step up into patio area leading to the ramp. Plenty of good parking.

Lovely spaced out cottage on one level which provided ample room for a family of 4. The utility room was a bonus and 3 loos were useful. Excellent location with all amenities within walking distance including pub, local food store, local town playing fields/park as well as the beach.
