This renovated annexe sits within it's own private space upon the owner's land. Rurally situated on the outskirts of Sturminster Newton, within walking distance of it's shops and pubs, yet far enough away to enjoy it's rural tranquillity, and within the heart of Thomas Hardy country providing a splendid variety of activities, from walks and garden tours to golf and horse riding.

Yeovil is just a short drive from the property and offers a wealth of restaurants, shops and pubs to keep even the most discerning of clients entertained. You can also visit Shaftesbury’s Gold Hill, made famous by the Hovis advert. Alternatively, you can enjoy nearby golf courses and driving ranges. Sherborne Castle with its splendid collection of art, furniture and porcelain. Close encounters with some of the world’s most amazing animals in the drive through Safari Park at Longleat, with Longleat House, widely regarded as one of the best examples of high Elizabethan architecture in Britain and one of the most beautiful stately homes open to the public. The Jurassic coast (World Heritage site) is also close by for those wanting beaches and quaint seaside towns.

This tastefully renovated property offers TWO bedrooms: 1 spacious master double with en-suite bathroom, separate shower and WC and 1 further twin, with 2'6" beds. Shower room: with WC on the first floor. Separate WC downstairs. Lounge/kitchen/diner: on the ground floor, open-plan and benefits from a conservatory style finish and underfloor heating, making the room light and warm. The lounge/diner area offers ample seating around the table, flatscreen TV/DVD and hi-fi. The kitchen offers integrated oven with hob and extractor hood, fridge with ice compartment, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. Outside: patio area with seating outside the property and enclosed paddock area across the driveway, BBQ available upon request. Amenities: ample parking for 2 cars. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. Selection of books available. Regret no smoking within the property. 1 dog welcome, 2 by arrangement. Additional info: there is a separate freezer under the stairs. Location: beach 20 miles, shops and pubs just over 1 mile.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Unfortunately there was work going on ( ie ) fencing ,and refurbishing the owners. house, so we found it very disturbing, however, it was all sorted,and you have to except traffic noise. We did meet the owner ,who was absolutely charming ,and she was very simpathetic with our " plight) .

A lovely comfortable, fresh, light and airy modern cottage with everything you could need for your stay. Sian and family were very welcoming, and we had a really enjoyable stay. You will need a car, as everything is a short drive from the cottage.

Spacious and very clean, lots of parking space, nice views and quiet. In the evening you had deer come into the garden to eat the fallen apples. Thoroughly recommended.

This cottage is situated in an ideal location. It was in a clean condition and the beds were very comfortable, however, the owners did not make any effort to welcome our family and their were little details which made our stay only satisfactory and improvements are necessary.

The cottage was bright and airy, clean and well decorated. The main bedroom was spacious with plenty of storage and both the en suite and main bathroom were a good size. Location was good,in the countryside but not too far away from the shops and local pubs.

Nice bright cottage in a nice location but not as quiet as we would have liked as it was along side a busy country lane having said that the location of the property was convenient for many attractions. Did not meet or see the owner at all the whole week which was a bit odd.
