This magnificent house, set within an acre of private grounds, nestles on the edge of the picturesque rural town of Beaminster and makes an excellent holiday base for up to thirteen guests.

This stunning property is situated close to the charming town of Beaminster and is conveniently set just off the main route from the town to the Jurassic Coast. The house is approached through a private gated entrance shared only with the owner's other property at the end of a no-through road. An easy walk along the footpath right outside your door takes you through to Beaminster town centre, where you will find a selection of restaurants, shops, pubs and tea rooms, meaning you can leave the car and relax completely. Head to the Jurassic Coast, designated as England’s first Natural World Heritage site, which runs through Dorset into Devon, encompassing Lyme Regis, Durdle Door and Swanage, and offers many fine coastal walks and breathtaking views. The county town of Dorchester, rich in history, is within a half hour drive and offers a wide range of restaurants, shops and pubs.

On entering this stunning, spacious accommodation, you will find a welcoming hallway which leads to an inviting, dual aspect lounge overlooking the garden. This is a fantastic room to relax in, snuggle up in front of the cosy open fire, or catch up with a film on the Sky TV. Exploring further, the kitchen/dining room is a light and airy room with a charming parquet floor throughout. The kitchen is equipped with a double electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Situated by the open fire, the elegant dining area overlooks the garden and is the perfect place for sitting down to a special meal with family and friends. From the kitchen, you can move into the snug which makes a great children's playroom and which also has a TV. There is also a small utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as a ground-floor WC. Moving upstairs, the property offers six bedrooms. On the first floor, you will find three bedrooms, firstly a spacious Master bedroom with a king-size bed and lovely views over the grounds, a triple bedroom with three single beds and a double bedroom. Also on the first floor you will find a bathroom with a bath and shower attachment, a separate shower room with a shower and a separate WC. Heading up to the second floor you will find three more bedrooms. There are two double bedrooms, one of which has restricted headroom, as well as a small twin bedroom. Completing the second floor is a bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.

Moving outside, you can relax and children can play in the acre of enclosed gardens, where you will find two summer houses, a covered pond, a patio area with ample garden furniture and a BBQ. Play equipment for children is available including swings and a giant trampoline There is off-road parking available for 4 cars on the shared driveway.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Please note there is a refundable £200 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

This property is in a perfect setting, but right on a busy road, various amenities in house and garden could be improved in line with the advert, to make this a perfect holiday location. All in all we did enjoy our stay in Beaminster.
