This charming property, located in the small hamlet of Waytown in Bridport, is a faithfully restored and extended semi-detached cottage. The location offers easy access to the dramatic Jurassic Coast.

A three-storey property, this is the perfect getaway for a small family with children looking for a quiet holiday by the sea. With views of the Brit Valley around the house and the coastal town of Bridport 3.6 miles away, this lovely accommodation has room enough for a family or group of four to enjoy as lazy or as busy a holiday as desired.

Upon entering the cottage, you have the homely sitting room to the left and the steep staircase that leads to the first floor. Inside the sitting room you will find a bright and cosy living area with two cream two-seater sofas, a large open fire and a surprisingly bright and modern feeling decor, compared to the more traditional exterior. There is a nice-sized Smart TV and plenty of natural light floods in from the window. A door leads into the bright and fashionable kitchen, kitted out with all the mod-cons you'd expect. There is even small circular table to dine at and a door that leads out to the back of the property. On the first level there is a twin single bedroom, bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin and a second sitting room, also equipped with a Smart TV, a corner sofa and a window seat. The second floor is accessed via a smaller, but still steep staircase in the sitting room. On the third floor there's a double bedroom, perfect as a master bedroom, featuring an elegant 5ft vaulted ceiling and an en-suite shower room.

Back downstairs and heading outside you will find a path that leads around the cottage to the other two cottages in close vicinity to the cottage. There's a lawn area with trees and shrubs to the front of the property that is un-enclosed and the separate games lawn. The property also boasts a garage with a BBQ, room for storage and a freezer. There is off-road parking for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The cottage had every thing that we needed for our short stay. Parking was not a problem. The pub could not have been closer as well! We had a lovely short break.
