Sherborne, a charming historic town is within easy reach. For history lovers the Abbey and Castle are well worth a visit, before exploring the many independent shops and restaurants on offer. Other attractions easily accessible include the Air Museum at Fleet and Haynes Motor Museum for those wanting a fun filled day out, plus a wealth of National Trust properties and gardens.

The barn was fantastic - a great size with comfy beds and everything you need. We were only there for a long weekend but could easily have stayed for a week. There are great walks and footpaths straight from the barn, Sherborne is a beautiful place to visit, and the Queens Arms pub is an easy walk. An excellent, purpose built, lodge in a quiet location. Ample car parking. Inside the lodge is spacious. Take your own towels as you only get one each for the week. The wifi worked well and at good speed. The local pub, run by the lodge owners, is a walk across fields, we drove up there. You get 10% off the food bill. This is a beautiful cottage ... very spacious and maintained to a very high standard. It is off the beaten track in the glorious Dorset countryside but is still close to civilisation so is perfect for some lovely days out. We had a lovely holiday there and would love to go back. Our only slight complaint was that the "enclosed " garden does have a Read morelot of open fencing which our small dog could easily escape - I feel this should be made clear in the description. Hide

This is a stunning, bright and warm Barn, beautifully positioned for full sun and open views across a valley, yet completely private and secured with timber fencing. It's situated right on a bridleway and we enjoyed so many wonderful romps from the door (pub is an easy half a mile across some fields). We had a wonderful week in Stafford Green barn. It was clean and comfortable and was well equipped. You couldn't ask for more. The hospitality was second to none. The local pub was very friendly and the food was lovely and they made the dogs very welcome which was lovely. I would definitely recommend this property and will definitely go back again

Staffordshire Green Barn is a well equipped house in a beautiful and peaceful location. The lanes leading up to the barn are narrow but not a problem. There are walks literally from the door and there are lots of things to do and see in the area.

Perfect barn for 3 couples of old friends to meet up in. The main living area lounge /kitchen / dining room all one room so plenty of room for the 6 of us.
