Other attractions in the area include the Fleet Air Arm Museum, the Haynes Motor Museum, and the historic town of Sherborne.

At the heart of this stunning barn conversion property, guests will find the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a wonderful space to relax and socialise, with its vaulted ceiling and large windows, which together give the room a fantastic light and airy feel. The lounge area, at one end of the space, is a cosy space with a TV/DVD, warming wood burner, and two sofas, one of which is a sofa-bed which can be used as an extra sleeping space. A large dining table seating eight runs through the centre of the room, leading guests from the lounge area across to the kitchen space. The kitchen area has been contemporarily designed and offers an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher, whilst the washer/dryer is housed in a separate utility room. Each of the property’s three bedrooms benefit from doors which open on to the garden, two of these are super-king-size rooms which can each be made up as twin rooms on request, thanks to the zip-and-link beds. One of these rooms has an en-suite shower room with shower and WC, whilst the other has a Jack-and-Jill style en-suite bathroom with a shower-over-bath and WC. The third bedroom is a king-size room, which again can be made up as a twin on request, next to which is a bathroom with bath, handheld shower, and WC.

Outside, the property enjoys a patio garden with table, chairs, and a BBQ, beyond which is a pleasant lawn area with views across the surrounding countryside. The owners can offer stabling for up to two horses nearby, and there is ample parking.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Lovely and spacious cottage in a beautiful location. The owners really thought of everything (such as boardgames!) and the cottage was immaculately clean, with fluffy towels and crisp linen. We were kindly left with a welcome basket of farm fresh eggs, bread, butter, milk, cereal and tea and coffee. The cottage was very spacious and very comfortablRead moree for three couples. The location was picturesque and quiet. It was like living in an executive home from home. Small touches like tea coffee milk,bread,butter and eggs were waiting for us on arrival. The road to the location need to be dealt with with caution as they are quite narrow and the locals seem to think they own them, which I suppose they do. This should not Read moremare the location. Ideal holiday 'cottage' in stunning location.

We had such an amazing & relaxing weekend with friends. The weather was so warm and the views incredible. We enjoyed the walk to the local pub & great food. It was so peaceful & enjoyable. We all loved it.

Staffords Green Barn was an excellent base from which to explore various walks from the cottage itself or a short drive to Sherborne, a beautiful town for food shopping and to shop browse with plenty of cafes and eateries. Several beaches, Osmington, Weymouth, West Bay, Burton Bradstock are all within easy reach.
