A very well equipped cottage with a lovely enclosed, stock proofed garden. We chose this cottage for its garden because we have an active young dog. Lots of walks on your doorstep. The owners have lots of pets & stock. Ideal for families & couples. There are otters & kingfishers on the River Stour nearby, & ponies & chickens alongside the cottage. Great, quiet yet accessible location; lovely secure garden ideal for dogs; some minor maintenance issues ; bathroom decoration not to our taste! - however, a good cottage for 3-4 people with dogs.

A little gem in the heart of Dorset. Friendly and helpful staff, peaceful, private location, and very dog friendly. Home from home, hope to return in the future.

A very tastefully, if idiosyncratically, furnished cottage in beautiful rolling Dorset hill country. For dog owners, it could not be bettered, with a large secure garden, handsome solid floors in the cottage, a good choice of walks straight from the door, and a (very!) dog-friendly pub/restaurant 10 minutes walk away.

Lovely cottage, with horses & chickens nearby to entertain us. The owner & her colleagues could not be more helpful. Lovely well fenced garden for the dogs & a number of garden seating areas.

A beautiful cottage set in a beautiful location. The cottage was 1st rate. The kitchen has every appliance/gadget you could need (& more). The enclosed gardens are perfect for holidaying with hounds. The river within the grounds is crystal clear & a great way to cool off in hot weather. The hostess was most helpful in recommending attractions & plaRead moreces to eat etc. The welcome pack was far better than we have had previously. All in all, we had a great break & will certainly return. Hide

Mill Cottage is well located, comfortable and well equipped. The enclosed garden was ideal for our two dogs and there are several walks that you can take directly from the cottage. The welcome pack provided is the best we have had and came in very useful, particularly as the weather was not what we would have hoped for in early June
