The world renowned Jurassic Coast is also just a short drive away, and here you can discover the ever impressive Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, and the award-winning sandy beaches of Bournemouth, Sandbanks, Weymouth and Studland. Other attractions in the area include Monkey World, The Tank Museum, Lulworth Castle, Corfe Castle, Abbotsbury Swannery, Longleat Safari Park, and a selection of National Trust properties and gardens, to name but a few.

The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: cosy double bedroom with TV. Bathroom: with power shower over bath and WC. Lounge: lovely light room with TV, Blu-ray DVD, coal effect electric fire, views of the surrounding countryside and French doors leading outside. Kitchen/diner: with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and slim-line dishwasher. Washer/dryer located in cupboard in the bathroom. Outside: south-facing patio area to the rear of the property with garden furniture, BBQ and access to owner's lawn garden that extends beyond this (please note that there is an unfenced pond in the garden). The property owners were marvelous; very helpful and very friendly. The cottage was very well appointed and delightfully charming. The setting was very peaceful and the gardens were lovely. Our time there was quite enjoyable and relaxing.

This was our first visit to Dorset and we could not have picked a better cottage or location. The cottage is spotlessly clean and well equipped and the garden is a delight to walk around and to sit and enjoy the view across the fields and hills. The location is perfect for local walks and is within 30 minutes of the coast and many other attractionsRead more in the county. The owners are friendly and helpful, but unobtrusive. A lovely cottage set in a superb location. The owners Erik and Jane could not have been more welcoming or indeed more helpfull in providing information on places to eat, walks etc. The wonderfull welcome pack set the tone for a very enjoyable holiday. We have stayed in many cottages around the UK but The Linnie beats them all hands down. To wake up every morning in such a peaceful setting, beautiful gardens and a delightful house with a million dollar view is just unbeatable!

The best cottage I have ever stayed in without doubt. Perfect quiet location looking over the hills with the Jubilee trail on the doorstep. Lovely, comfy, warm and well equipped with extremely friendly and helpful owners next door. Can't wait to go back in the spring! Thank you.
