The world-renowned Jurassic Coast is also just a short drive away, and here you can discover the ever-impressive Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, and the award-winning sandy beaches of Bournemouth, Sandbanks, Weymouth and Studland. Other attractions in the area include Monkey World, The Tank Museum, Lulworth Castle, Corfe Castle, Abbotsbury Swannery, Longleat Safari Park, and a selection of National Trust properties and gardens, to name but a few.

You will have direct access to the south-facing patio area to the rear of the property with garden furniture and a BBQ but access is allowed into the extended lawn garden beyond this (please note that there is an unfenced pond in the garden). The cottage was cosy, in a quiet location and with beautiful views. The owners were friendly but not obtrusive. Durweston is a good hub for exploring the local area.

The Linnie was the perfect bolt hole in which to relax and recharge batteries. It has it all:5* comfort, cosines and cleanliness in an idyllic setting. After a long, tiring journey we were given a very warm welcome from Erik and Jane and appreciated the goodies. Would highly recommend.

There is so much to do in the area or just sit on the patio and relax, you are spoilt for choise. Plus safe parking close to the accommodation.

The Linnie was lovely and comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners were very friendly and helpful and made us very welcome with various goodies, including some lovely cake, when we first arrived. There was a beautiful garden and wonderful views from the cottage. Also, there were some adorable Shetland ponies in the pastures next to the Read moregarden. There were lots of interesting and lovely places to visit in the area and good local walks so we hope to visit again sometime. Hide

Stayed here for 7 days. Couldn't praise it enough. Lovely cottage in gardens that are beautiful and a great location. Lovely views in the pretty village of Durweston. Well stocked kitchen and lovely lounge with views through patio doors to the garden and fields beyond. Tranquil and serene. The Kinney is a perfect holiday retreat, a real home from home. Erik and Jane are the most welcoming and considerate of hosts. The goodies on the welcome tray were a real treat. We certainly wouldn't look for anywhere else to stay in Dorset
