Barn conversion studio property, a wonderful couple’s retreat, located in the heart of Dorset, situated within a thirty-minute drive of the county’s stunning coastline, with its numerous beaches.

This property is located in the Dorset village of Winterborne Whitechurch, and is within walking distance of the popular village pub, making it a lovely option for a pleasant evening stroll. To the north of the property, the Georgian town of Blandford Forum offers a range of shops making it easy to stock up on essentials, as well as a number of eateries. Eleven miles away, the town of Dorchester makes an interesting place for a day trip and offers a number of unusual and unexpected attractions including a Tutankhamun museum, a teddy bear museum, and a Terracotta Army exhibit. Dorset is home to some of England’s best-loved beaches, including those at Sandbanks, Lulworth Cove, and Weymouth, which are all within twenty miles of the property.

Glass doors at the front of this property open directly into the open-plan studio room, which comprises a lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom. The dining area is located close to the door to make the most of the light which floods into the room. Beyond this there is a pleasant lounge/bedroom area with a TV/DVD which can be enjoyed from both the comfortable sofa and the double bed. The kitchen area is tucked away in a corner, and although modest in size, offers the equipment that guests will need to prepare their favourite meals with ease, including an oven, hob, microwave, and fridge with ice compartment. There are no laundry facilities in the property, however, guests are able to make use of the owner’s washing machine and tumble dryer if they need to. Just off the living area, there is a wet room with a shower and WC.

Outside, there is a pretty, shingled garden area with table and chairs to the front of the property, which makes a lovely place to sit and relax over drinks. There is space for one car provided.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

A lovely comfy, clean Garden Room. Furnishings and surroundings chosen well creating a lovely and relaxing space. Hosts were very friendly and were keen to ensure that we had no problems. We had a lovely, relaxing holiday.

Wonderful Hosts, clean comfortable ideal garden studio to stay conveniently located for most places. We thoroughly enjoyed the studio and Dorset will definitely be back, Diesel (our dog loved it too !!)

Just come back after 5 night stay with our 2 dogs. Owners very friendly, amiable & helpful. Accomadation is of a very high standard with quality fixtures & furnishings througout. Secure off road parking. Only slight concern is very good, dog friendly pub, only one for miles around & only 200 yrds away, is closing on 1/3/18 until new owners can be fRead moreound. Great base to explore area. Would definetly stay again. Hide

location is absolutely perfect! everything you could possibly want to do is close by. place is perfect for two people, only problem we had was the bed sheets not very comfortable and as close to the road can be a bit noisy at night. Other than that we were in love with the place
