Lovely refurbished cottage, enough space for us for adults, 1 child and our three dogs. It was very clean and modern; especially the kitchen diner was lovely and new. The cottage is let down by the location on the main road (A road) and next to a garage. We found the rush hour traffic particularly disturbing. I cannot imagine sitting outside to eatRead more in the garden (in spite of the inviting garden furniture) to have a BBQ. Also the garden is quite small; football games etc out of the question. Hide

Location: mixed bag really. I knew it was on a main road next to a garage so I knew it wasn't in a quaint pretty location and if that's what you want then maybe not for you. It was a fabulous place. The dogs loved laying out on the patio after the long walks on the coast, the kitchen was big enough for a small party, and the country shop next door had a great selection of beers and posh food to enjoy. Comfy beds. Everything worked, including the ice maker. Don't be put off by the road...no noise after 7pm

The inside of the property was nicely done and comfortable and the garden was pleasant, however, location of the property is horrendous. Very well appointed property with farm shop on the doorstep. The only downside was the traffic noise, but we got used to it.
