A spacious open-plan studio in a pretty village setting, not far from the beach at Lyme Regis and all of the amenities the surrounding area has to offer. The perfect spot for a romantic break.

Beneath the owners’ contemporary Georgian style house yet offering a great degree of seclusion, this stylish studio apartment has space in abundance and is ideally situated for visiting both the coast and countryside, which are both within walking distance. The village itself has a pub, shop and post office for those essential supplies as well as a thriving green, which the property overlooks, where you will find tennis courts, a football pitch and cricket club. There is a footpath near the property which is ideal for a short walk and for exercising your four legged friends. If you’re feeling energetic a walk alongside the tranquil river to Lyme Regis will take you through a picturesque wooded glen and is a wonderful way to get to the beach, historical streets and a varied selection of pubs and restaurants overlooking the famous Cobb and harbour. Set in the heart of the Jurassic Coast, you will find this picturesque area has an abundance of quaint towns and villages to explore, which are ideal for walking and cycling.

A gated path down the side of the house leads you to the private entrance. On entering the studio you are met by a spacious open-plan room with numerous seating areas, ideal for settling down with a good book. Firstly you will find the large conservatory, which is adjacent to the kitchen/dining area and has an attractive outlook over the garden and rolling hills. The beautiful handmade kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer and microwave. Next to the kitchen is the shower room, which has a shower and WC. Back through the kitchen is the cosy lounge space, which is the ideal place to relax after a day exploring as it has a TV and DVD and glass doors opening on the terrace. Sectioned off of the lounge is a peaceful space containing a double bed.

Venturing outside you will find a veranda with garden furniture which is a beautiful spot for dining al fresco, taking in the peaceful surroundings filled with birdsong. Heading back to the front of the property is off-road parking for one car.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

We had a fantastic time. Lovely siting outside watching the cows drinking coffee. Its lovely & quiet & most of all comfortable. Its light & airy being open plan. We are looking forward to going back soon.

A really spacious and comfortable property. Location is excellent with Lyme Regis in easy walking distance. The conservatory and covered veranda are a nice touch and would be lovely to use in summer weather

As a couple with a dog, we found Wandas to be an ideal property in a good location. A lovely picturesque walk into Lyme which did take about forty minutes, but our dog is quite old and slow and it was rather soggy underfoot.

This is a modern studio apartment style property which has been beautifully appointed with great style. it seemed to us that they had thought of everything for a comfortable holiday. The roads in the immediate vicinity are quite narrow so care is needed when walking or driving. The village has a petrol station with a well stocked shop and there is Read morea local pub. Hide

Lovely well presented cottage. This has been a well thought out holiday let with lots of nice touches. The furniture is comfortable which fits the open plan style. The outdoor veranda is a great idea whether it provides protection from the rain or shade from the sun and bonus is you can sit outside in the evening as it has the right amount of lightRead moreing. Having stayed at a number of self catering cottages we can say this was one of the best, well designed and equipped. Everything you are likely to need is supplied. The family is very welcoming and helpful. Enjoy.
