Dairy Cottage (not Dove Cottage as listed on website) was ideal for 2 guests needing their own bedroom/bathroom and all on a single level - perfect for those with mobility difficulties. Convenient location, although traffic noise from busy A350 can be heard at rush hour. You'll need to take your own books/dvds/board games for entertainment. Warm welcome from the owner. Cottage was generally well maintained and very clean. Bedrooms had enough space and cupboard room for us. There were no tongs for turning food, but other wise the kitchen was well equipped. There was adequate parking and could drive to the front of the cottage for loading/unloading. All on the level. Easy access by car Read moreto Shaftesbury for Tescos and Chinese takeaway. Half an hour from Salisbury. Good pub two miles away to eat - no need to book. Hide

The cottage is in a farm setting with a main house (owners) as part of a courtyard surrounded by about eight cottages. The cottage is well-equipped and there was nothing different to that advertised. Met the owners who were very pleasant and sociable especially when we were both under the weather for a few days. Hide
