A car definitely needed as very rural location, no village shop or pub within walking distance, but lovely and quiet and although the owners were only next door they left us alone to enjoy our holiday but were very approachable if needed!

If you like the quiet traditional English countryside then this is for you. Located in a tiny village with a main trunk road nearby (but out of earshot) you have all the peace and quiet you could wish for but good links for days out. Outside space is great and there was even a secure shed for bicycles. Much to visit locally - historic villages, natRead moreionally recognised cycleways and walkways and the Jurassic coast. Dog friendly. Wonderful Dorset at its best. Hide

A pleasant place to stay in a quiet, typical English setting. The grounds were very English and well presented. The owners were very welcoming and helpful.

In a quiet, pleasant village without its own pub. The cottage is well situated for visiting the Jurassic Coast, walking and visiting many pubs with good food. We found the property offered an adequate kitchen, a bijou shower room, and very spacious bedroom and sitting room with an excellent outlook over a large garden and farmland.

The cottage itself was lovely. Main problem, lack of information available on entry. On arrival the owners away for the weekend. We had to ask for most things including a wifi code. We placed wet washing in the tumble dryer while out for the day, the owners turned off the dryer leaving the wet clothes inside and a note asking us to use a washing liRead morene, that we were unaware of. Luckily we had time to do so or washing wet overnight. A simple information sheet an do's and don'ts would be a help. Hide
