Other attractions include Colchester Zoo and the Colne Valley Railway at Sible Hedingham.

I have rarely stayed in an appartment with a better view than this. The moment you wake up and hit the living room, you are rewarded with a show that never bores. Nature (tides) and man (vessels) make this a tremendous lookout. Local pub very laid back and good ales, ciders and food, at very good prices. Nearby Chinese takeout very good, and BrightRead morelingsea has a Tesco Express and a Coop Superstore. Enjoyed the sat and bluesy now that we are back home. Hide

View from lounge was fantastic. Bed was really comfortable. We cooked every day and there was enough equipment to cope. Very quiet position and lots happening on the water. Cant put my finger on what I wasnt keen on but wont be back. If you like sailing it would be great.

Particularly loved to long sofa, which on a November weekend allowed maximum soaking up of the watery sun as it moved across the sky. Hard bed brilliant!

Stunning views from the comfortable apartment, great location and friendly town. Difficult to take your eyes off the river, yachting and fishing. Very serene and restful. Would consider further stay in this stunning location.
