The thriving high street offers a wealth of independent stores, coffee shops and places to eat. Local attractions include, The Muckleburgh Collection, National Trust properties at Felbrigg and Blickling, Wiverton Hall, Bewilderwood and The Dinosaur Adventure Park. From Morston and Blakeney take a trip to see the seals or simply enjoy being beside the sea.

Stepping into the property, via a stained glass feature front door,  the welcoming lounge is the first room you see with comfortable seating, cosy wood burner and TV, the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day enjoying the sea air. The light and airy kitchen/diner offers everything you need for your stay such as built in electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and  washing machine.The dining table is the ideal spot for a full English breakfast to set you up for the day and plan the day ahead. Heading upstairs, there is a stained glass feature window,  the property offers two bedrooms, one double and one twin and a bathroom comprising of a shower over the bath and WC.

Outside and to the rear of the property, there is an enclosed garden with garden furniture, with an adult 2 seater swing chair, and ideal place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine on warmer evenings. To the front of the property is off-road parking for two cars.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Herring cottage is a lovely two bedroom cosy cottage which makes for a very nice holiday break. There is a very bright kitchen/diner which is stocked with good quality kitchen equipment, and is easy to use. The living room has seating for 4 people and a selection of books and games. The two bedrooms are comfortable and bright and the bathroom is a Read moregood size and modern and clean. Overall, a lovely cottage in every way. I can't wait to come back! Hide

A well presented dwelling with modern fitments. I agree with the comment that a family of four would find it a tad on the small size. The rear garden is a sun trap and totally enclosed so safe for children / pets etc; to be able to park vehicles off the road is also a bonus. The local Common is a two minute walk away so handy for dog walking and thRead moree beach / sea front / town can all be walked in 5 - 10 mins. Hide

Very comfortable cottage. Great location for exploring the north Norfolk coast. Off street parking is an added bonus. Lovely sunny back garden.

Herring Cottage is a very nice clean property only recently renovated with great care, it has a very nice garden which is great to relax in. It is quite small which is good for two but could be a bit crowded for four. The location in Sheringham is great, short walk to sea & decent pub & shop across the main road.
