Traditional property located on a quiet residential road, within walking distance of the shops, train station and coast. Renovated and delightfully furnished it is an ideal base to explore the area.

The seaside town of Sheringham offers a wealth of things to do, with The Mo Museum, North Norfolk Steam Railway with steam trains running frequently to Holt and Weybourne, Splash Swimming Pool and Golf Course. The thriving high street offers a wealth of independent stores, coffee shops and places to eat. Local attractions include, The Muckleburgh Collection, National Trust properties at Felbrigg and Blickling, Wiverton Hall, Bewilderwood and The Dinosaur Adventure Park. From Morston and Blakeney take a trip to see the seals or simply enjoy being beside the sea.

Stepping into the property, via a stained glass feature front door,  the welcoming lounge is the first room you see with comfortable seating, cosy wood burner and TV, the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day enjoying the sea air. The light and airy kitchen/diner offers everything you need for your stay such as built in electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and  washing machine.The dining table is the ideal spot for a full English breakfast to set you up for the day and plan the day ahead. Heading upstairs, there is a stained glass feature window,  the property offers two bedrooms, one double and one twin and a bathroom comprising of a shower over the bath and WC.

Outside and to the rear of the property, there is an enclosed garden with garden furniture, with an adult 2 seater swing chair, and ideal place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine on warmer evenings. To the front of the property is off-road parking for two cars.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

A compact cottage but more than adequate and comfortable for two. Off road parking is a bonus. A short 10 min walk to Tesco and the town centre. Central heating very effective, but house is well insulated so we hardly needed it on at all, even when it turned cold.

Very well presented and equipped. Downstairs is open plan which might not be clear on the photos, our dog is used to being shut in the kitchen overnight, which proved a small problem for us, but we got round it. The cottage is very cosy and well equipped. It is ideally located, with off-road parking and a 10 minutes walk into Sheringham. There is a pub with good food directly across the road. Sheringham and nearby Cromer are very dog-friendly resorts.

The cottage is off a main road the A149 but despite this it was lovely and quiet, a pub was on the main road opposite pine grove, well worth a visit. only 10 minute walk to the beach/sea front. not too far( in the opposite direction to a lovely place that has gardens and a maize and in north brunton the Hillside shire horse sanctuary. a most enjoyable holiday, cottage was clean with comfy beds, ideally positioned for town & sea front an easy 10/15 min walk. a pity the tree overhanging the drive dropped horrible sticky blossom all over the car ! We will be considering it again for next year.

When we arrived at the property, the first impressions of the street, wasn't what we were expecting. The property is also situated quite close to the main road and traffic noise can be heard in the upstairs front bedroom even with the windows closed. A delightful cottage warm and cozy,and everything you would need to enjoy this lovely little cottage. Walking distance to Sheringham,a delightful place to visit,and you can catch a bus to just about everywhere you may like to visit. A lovely touch from the owner,were the flowers in the hearth,milk,tea bags and biscuits. Just wonderful.

Had a very nice week break at Herring Cottage. It was very well equipped, clean and lovely and warm. Off road parking was a bonus and a short distance to the coastal path for walking the dog and exploring Sheringham.

Herring cottage is a lovely two bedroom cosy cottage which makes for a very nice holiday break. There is a very bright kitchen/diner which is stocked with good quality kitchen equipment, and is easy to use. The living room has seating for 4 people and a selection of books and games. The two bedrooms are comfortable and bright and the bathroom is a Read moregood size and modern and clean. Overall, a lovely cottage in every way. I can't wait to come back! Hide
