This delightful accommodation, in Hoveton/Wroxham, is attached to the owners’ timber framed boat house and is all on one level with an incredible bonus of having private mooring. Ideally situated for peace and tranquillity, overlooking the magnificent Norfolk Broads it is perfect for spotting the resident kingfishers and herons, fishing from the garden and for watching the comings and goings of everyday life on the Broads. A short stroll away is a variety of shops and restaurants and close by is Wroxham Barns with craft shops. The River Bure divides Wroxham and Hoveton but the two villages are commonly called Wroxham which is known as the capital of the Broads, perfect for shopping or hiring a day boat to cruise the miles of magical waterways with charming villages and historic churches. Catch the Bure Valley steam train from Wroxham to Aylsham, or take a river trip on a paddle steamer and for nature lovers How Hill nature reserve. Miles of long sandy beaches at Sea Palling and Waxham are within 12 miles. Norwich is 9 miles away with shops, restaurants, theatres, museums and a castle. The cottage was perfect for two people. It was clean and had everything you would need. wifi was great. The owners were so nice and very helpful. No steps as all on one level. Step outside and there is the mooring. 5 minute walk to the town. A lovely little cottage. Den & Di

We had an excellent week at Hornbeam, a comfortable cottage with all the facilities we needed and an enjoyable garden to sit in next to the river. A good location to explore an attractive and interesting area. Enjoyed river trips, Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden, and found restaurants we enjoyed, especially the Swan Inn at Horning. Well presented with semi-wild garden and fishing at the bottom of the garden. Good position for walking into the village for shopping in a busy but beautiful village. Pleasant owners.
