A beautiful farmhouse with adjacent cottage offering stylish and spacious accommodation for twelve guests, situated in the well-appointed village of Snettisham, just 3.5 miles from the Norfolk coast.

Situated in the village of Snettisham, this property is located within walking distance of the village’s pubs, shops, and coffee shop. 3.5 miles outside the village, the local beach is a quiet shingle beach which is a lovely spot for enjoying seaside walks. A little way north around the coast, meanwhile, the popular resort town of Hunstanton is a family-friendly sandy beach with a full range of facilities and entertainment, with a wide range of places to eat, a beachfront land train, and a Sea Life sanctuary. Within walking distance of the main beach, neighbouring Old Hunstanton has a quieter, village-like to it and is a good place to escape to if you are looking for a bit of peace and quiet away from the lively seafront of the main town.

This grand property consists of two separate buildings: the main farmhouse and an additional cottage joined by an interconnecting door. The main house sleeps eight, and has been finished to a high standard throughout, creating a chic and stylish holiday property. Upon arrival the entrance provides space to leave coats and boots and a handy utility area. Beyond the hallway, a door on the right opens onto the kitchen which offers a place to eat with a breakfast table set in the centre of the room, as well as a pretty window seat where guests may like to sit with a drink whilst enjoying the garden views. An excellent range of equipment is provided between this kitchen and the second kitchen which is located towards the rear of the property, including an AGA oven and hob, conventional oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. Beyond the main entrance hallway, a door opens onto the dual aspect dining room which is a lovely light-filled room with a feature fireplace, a large table seating eight, and views over the garden. The main house boasts two lounge rooms, the first of which is styled as an elegant drawing room overlooking three sides of the property with opening French doors and offering comfortable seating, a feature fireplace, and a TV/DVD. The second lounge, meanwhile, is accessed down four stone stairs and has a large corner sofa, a wood burner, and a TV/DVD. The games room is a fun addition to the house and offers a dartboard, table football table and table tennis. Upstairs there are four beautifully styled bedrooms, the first of which is the chic master bedroom, a double room which benefits from a private dressing room with built-in wardrobes, as well as an en-suite bathroom with a bath, separate shower, and WC. The second and third bedrooms are also both double rooms, one of which offers an en-suite shower room with a WC. The fourth bedroom, meanwhile, is a pretty twin room next to which there is a bathroom with a bath, separate shower cubicle, and WC, whilst there is also a cloakroom with a WC on the ground floor of the property.

The cottage which is adjacent to the main house with its own entrance, sleeps an extra four guests and is perfect for those holidaying with extended family who may need their own space. On the ground floor of the cottage there is a comfortable lounge/diner which has been finished in bright colours and has an inviting sofa, a TV/DVD, and a fireplace with an open-fire. On the other half of the room, the dining area has a table for four, beyond which a door leads through to the kitchen which overlooks the enclosed courtyard garden and includes electric hob, oven, extractor, fridge and a dishwasher. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, a restful twin room a double room and a single room (maximum 4 guests), as well as a bathroom with a shower-over-bath and WC.

Outside, the main house and the cottage both look out over a spacious lawn to the front of the property, which is a simply wonderful place to relax, play, and sit out to enjoy alfresco dining in the fantastically peaceful surroundings. To the rear of the property, meanwhile, there are additional lawns as well as a shingled seating area with garden furniture. There is a summerhouse to the front and there is off-road parking available for up to six cars.

See above. Apart from the hordes of summer flies in the kitchen and getting used to cooking on an Aga, it is a spacious well-furnished house for a large party and the garden is beautiful. A car is necessary to get to a sandy beach and to the many places of interest in this quiet, lovely part of Norfolk.
