Enjoying an idyllic location right on the beach front in the seaside village of Heacham, this beach bungalow along with an additional static caravan can sleep large parties of up to 12.

For those looking for a seaside holiday there can be few places in a better position than this beachfront bungalow and its neighbouring caravan. Walking straight from the property’s front door and down to the beach takes mere seconds, meaning that whatever time of day the beach is there for guests to enjoy, whether for an early morning walk, a fun-filled day beside the sea, or a relaxing evening spent watching the sunset. The beach also has its own cafe and fish and chip shop so there is no need to worry if no one feels like cooking. In the village of Heacham itself, there is a pub serving food as well as a handy shop which is great for filling up on essentials. If guests can drag themselves away from the beach there is plenty to see and do in the local area including the resort of Hunstanton, the attractive harbour town of King’s Lynn, and the beautiful royal estate at Sandringham.

Wooden stairs lead up past the decked seating area and to the front door of this beachfront property. The main bungalow can accommodate up to eight guests and offers a comfortable place to stay and enjoy the beach. The door opens directly into the kitchen which offers an excellent range of equipment including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. Through the kitchen, guests will come to a hallway which in turn leads onto the lounge/diner, where guests will find two comfortable sofas, a window-side dining table and a TV/DVD. The sun room which runs adjacent to the lounge offers guests a second space in which to relax and has fantastic views to the sand dunes. Two bedrooms, a king-size room and a twin are both accessed via the lounge, whilst the third bedroom, a bunk bedroom is located next to the kitchen and has two sets of bunks accommodating four guests in total. The bathroom, meanwhile, offers a shower-over-bath and WC.

The neighbouring static caravan offers a living area with TV/DVD, dining area and kitchen which includes a gas oven, hob and fridge with a freezer compartment. Also you will find two more bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds and a shower room (there is an additional charge of £400 per booking, for guests wanting to use the caravan) In front of the property, there are two raised decked seating areas which are both fantastic places to sit out and enjoy the sea air and the relaxing sound of crashing waves. There is garden furniture provided, as well as a BBQ but please note that this should be used just in front of the property and not on the deck.

There is ample off-road parking available close to the property.

Highchair and travel cot available upon request.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Please note there is a refundable £100 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

Old Times is full of character and also has all the necessary modern conveniences. The children loved the bunk beds. The caravan was great extra accomodation giving us the opportunity to spread out when needed. Best of all is the location. Sitting just behind the dunes its a few steps to the beach. Beautiful decor, very well-equipped. We so enjoyed the beach location and having three verandas to sit on and enjoy. At least one was partially shaded or in full sun the whole day. Everything you could need for either simple or complex meal preparation and enough glassware to enjoy whatever you were drinking. The seating was varied so everyone got Read moreto sit where they were most comfortable, too. Beds very comfy also. Hide

Perfect location for children - right next to the beach. When the tide was out the sea was barely visible but nevertheless the children loved playing on the beach. And glorious views of the sunset every evening from the veranda.

Great house in an amazing location. Sunsets are unreal! The house had everything we could need however it was very hot during the recent heatwave given it being a wooden structure....we did bring fans from home though which made it bearable. Had we not had the fans I think we may have been a little less happy, the front bedroom was 31C in the eveniRead morengs! But otherwise it was perfect and the owners have thought of everything. Would have been nice to have towels and a bath mat to save us bringing our own as this property does not provide towels. Think it would be very cold there in winter as no heating...but for a summer break its ideal. Hide

Well equipped kitchen, peaceful location along a bumpy (but can drive it) road, saw a small owl both nights soaring for food, the bunks are all children sized (also comfy for a short adult), comfy living arrangements.

We had a very enjoyable stay. I was born in Norwich but was not familiar with that part of Norfolk and loved the beach right outside the door. The house was lovely and I particularly liked the fact that our neighbouring properties weren't as close as some I've seen. I want to live here and so does my dog.
