Visitors need to take their own kettle as the one belonging to cottage need descaling. If you tend to need the toilet during the night be aware Should you be in the twin bedroom then be prepared for a route march ......... through the double bedroom, down the stairs, through the lounge, kitchen, bathroom to get to toilet.

We have given a low score for cleanliness because, although upstairs was warm clean and comfortable the kitchen needed a lot of cleaning before we could even unpack. The surfaces were dirty & sticky & there were crumbs on the kitchen table & inbetween the placemats. We appreciate its dog friendly but that doesnt account for dirty surfaces, cupboardRead more doors, plates and glasses. Apart from that the location was good and there was a good pub and play park nearby. Hide

Had a lovely stay for our sons 2nd birthday. Cottage basic, but just what we needed and perfect for a base camp from our days out. Lovely place to walk the dog. Would really recommend the local pub. Had a lovely Sunday roast there. And would also recommend nearby pub The Hoste.

We loved the nearness to the large pond and its feathered inhabitants. The cottage is nicely equipped, and the lay-out did not take long to become familiar, including the varying doorway heights for us six-footers. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished, though the second bedroom was only accessible through the main bedroom. (No problem for just usRead more two though). The restricted part of the stairway (as mentioned in the advertised information) proved no great problem for us, but take care...... Hide
