Set close to the shrine in the historic village of Little Walsingham, this charming cottage makes an ideal base for exploring the beautiful countryside and the stunning coast of northern Norfolk.

This delightful cottage is set within the conservation area of Little Walsingham, a renowned medieval pilgrim village in the heart of the Norfolk countryside. Facing the Roman Catholic National Shrine – a replica of the medieval shrine of Lady Richeldis in honour of the Annunciation – this lovely cottage is perfectly situated for exploring this beautiful area. The village has some charming medieval streets with some interesting shops. There’s also a museum containing a Georgian courthouse, and you can explore the ruins of a 12th century priory. Great Walsingham is a mile away, and you can enjoy a trip on the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway which takes you to the popular coastal village of Wells-next-the-Sea. Fakenham and Titchwell are also nearby.

On entering this bright and pretty mid-terrace flint cottage, you will find yourself in the comfy and welcoming lounge. With plenty of comfortable seating, an open fire, TV/DVD and a great selection of books, the light and airy lounge makes an ideal space to relax  in at the end of a wonderful day. Cottage style stairs leads from the lounge to the first floor. Heading into the kitchen/diner, you will find a lovely dining area with seating for six guests and a traditional wood burner set in the fireplace. The attractively designed kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge/freezer. There is also a ground-floor WC. Going upstairs to the first floor you will find two cosy bedrooms: there’s a double room and a twin room. There is also a single futon on the landing to suit one extra guest. There is also a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC.

Stepping outside, you will find a charming garden with garden furniture, where you can sit back and relax. On-street parking is available just around the corner, just a brief walk from the property.

The cottage is lovely. The location is great and there is s farm shop and cafe very close by. Although its on a road its very quiet.

The cottage,which we visited for the 4th time is located in and super location oposite the farm shop and 2minutes from the entrance to the Anglican Shrine. Parking is available close by and its not time controlled. Shopping in the village is quite limited but Fakenham is only 15minutes away.The accommodation is good with a lovely living kitchen. A welcoming comfortable cottage. It is well equipped and the kitchen/dining room is a lovely family space. It is ideally situated in the heart of Little Walsingham with everything within walking distance. There is a particularly good farm shop opposite, ideal when self catering.

A lovely cottage in a central location within the village, and opposite to a very handy local farms shop. Lots of equipment is included to make it an enjoyable stay. There is also a pub ,serving food ,within a five minute walk

I would like to express how much we enjoyed our recent stay at St Benedicts. It was our second visit and the work carried out since our first 2 years ago was very much appreciated.
